What was the first movie you ever remember seeing in your life?

Mine was Popeye (1980) the movie. It had Robin Williams and Shelly Duvall. I remember the first time I saw it, I was around 2.5 or 3 years old. I loved that movie, and I loved cartoons as well, but I loved Popeye, and I still watch it till this day whenever it comes on TV.

I remember because I have an obsession with that thing called “Television.”

Oooh, this is a good memory. I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Sarnia with my sister Mic. We crossed the border to go shopping and watch a movie – for some reason Snow White was playing at the theatre. So that’s what we saw! And, we shopped at Target, which was like Disneyland for our tiny little minds.

It was a horror movie called (The Car) about an old black car that’s possessed! It drives itself and runs people over! It was released on the same year I was born. I was probably 6 when I watched it, and when it was done my cousin who was sleeping over kept making vrooming noises all night.

Since then the only other movie that scared me as an adult (at least while watching it) has been the ring (only the first one).
