I get very interesting emails every day. Usually they are emails from teenagers or some lonely person who needs someone to talk to. They talk by criticizing and daring me to reply back, and want a dual with words. They think they can hurt me by a bunch of empty pointless words. Fortunately, when I was growing up, there was a saying that children were taught to not feel bad from inconsiderate bullies’ remarks. It said this, “sticks and stones may brake my bones, but words can never hurt me.”

Fortunately, some children were able to live by that rule and grew up to ignore any criticism that was given to them. That does not mean that they ignore or not care. They listen, but they will not show any weakness and take that criticism to heart, and will never show you that they are hurt. That’s how bloggers now a days are feeling. That’s what we try to do.

Words don’t hurt. However, foolish people’s words make you wonder what’s wrong with people and why they say that. In my case, most of the empty criticisms that I receive are from Arabs them selves. They criticize my writing, they call me names, they say that I am racist towards other Arab nationalities and how would I feel if they start insulting Palestinians in return, etc. I sit at my computer desk at home and read this with shock. Why? I keep asking why? What in the world did I write that someone out there took such an offense by it and wasted their time to write such unthoughtful remarks?

Unfortunately, there is that obscure thought that permeates many Arabs. When they see success in a fellow Arab, then they automatically blame it on Western influence or Zionist interaction and help.

That’s when I draw the line.

The most foolish thing I have received thus far through this site is some idiot’s remark of the advertisement on my site. That the words sexy and Arab girls in one phrase is a Zionist ideology. That the ads are all coming from Zionists’ websites to shamefully represent Arabs in a negative manner. That Arab girls are whores, and look good, and they are free for anyone to see through these sites.

I read that sentence and my jaw dropped. I didn’t know if I was mad or wanted to laugh from astonishment. There are Arabs out there that think that way? Why?

First off, I don’t control the ads that are coming from Google. Yes, I make money through them to cover the costs of this site. However, most of the ads are coming from sites such as Arablounge.com, Muslima.com, and God knows what. All are Arab and Muslim dating sites. It’s like my blog, people hate it, they wonder if I was Arab or even a girl who is writing the shit that I write on my site. Why the doubt? Why is it that if an Arab does not like something, does not approve of something, is not happy with how something turned out, is astonished by someone’s success, they automatically blame it on Western or Zionist influence. Why?

Why can’t Arabs blame them selves sometimes for their stupidity? For their derogatory words, for their shameful ways, and for their ill manner with dealing with others? Why everything good can only come out of Arabs, and everything bad from every where else in the world? I am not here to defend Westerners or Zionist. I don’t give a rat’s ass about any of them and I support no one but my self. However, I want Arabs to be a bit open minded, use their brains for once and stop blaming everything bad on the rest of the world, and appear like innocent and perfect fools. Arabs are not perfect! No one is perfect. Stop blaming all the shit that you can’t stand on the influence of other cultures or people. No one gives a shit. The more you say that, the more people will think you are the racist closed minded person, and you put the rest of us in this pool of idiots that can’t reason with facts! No wonder why the rest of the word has such a negative view point of us Arabs. It’s cause of idiots like you!

My advice is to grow up! Go outside and see how the world is run. It’s not what you think! Not even close!!

Angry, Blah Blah, Idiots, They said what?

I don’t have to be all nice and compliment you for your stupidity! Why do I have to keep writing warnings on my site? Are people that stupid? Seriously, because I said something that someone out there does not agree with then they start saying the stupidest things that can ever come out of someone’s mouth. I am tired of banning people. I am tired of having to ban an entire IP range. You guys are ruining it for other people. I am so happy that lately my visitor number went down and I don’t have to deal with so many different people. However, I always get the odd idiot that always comes to my site searching on Google for “Arab girl” or God knows what, and except me to reply politely to them. Hello? Who the hell you think you are?

1. You insult me, I will insult you back twice as worse.

2. You accuse me of being racist and you insult me without a valid reason. You just proved my point of why I even hinted to such an idea in the first place.

3. You think I write stupid things that no Arab girl should write, then hell, I guess you MEN haven’t been chatting with Arab girls lately and seeing for your self the shit that they say.

4. I don’t forgive and forget. So I just ban you and you will never go on my site again, unless you want to change your ISP provider. Go ahead, waste your time if you think I am worth the trouble.

5. It is so easy for you to insult someone you don’t know, can’t see, and have no physical communication with. It is called WEAKNESS.

6. I am not mad. I will never be mad, but I will treat you worse than you treat me. I got nothing to loose.

7. I like my public opinions to be displayed about certain issues, and that’s why I made this blog. If you can’t stand it, don’t read. If you hate it, don’t comment and think I will approve it. If I did approve it and you said something INSULTING, then God be hold, get some tissue paper because you won’t like my reply. I don’t take offense by someone I don’t know. Why should I?

My God! I have never seen that many FOOLS in my life as I did owning and maintaining my site.

Blah Blah, Idiots, They said what?

I am having a major problem with my site. I can’t seem to write out my thoughts without offending someone. I tried to be general, but to no avail. I tried to be specific, and that was another problem by it self. People say, “how can you talk about someone?” If I talk about someone, people get mad. If I am general and no specifics, they get mad. What am I to do? Talk about what? What I did today! I went to work, suffered for 8 hours, and then went home and slept. Such a great story!

So I decided this, I will WRITE about anything, about anyone, and I don’t give two shits what people think. You can attack me, call me names, but in the end of the day, it is your loss. Why? It is because you are wasting your valuable time insulting someone you don’t know, and you will never know in person. It is a shame.

What do I feel like writing today? Nothing important really. I am at work, and I am counting the days. I don’t feel like being here, and my friend told me to just call it sick days, but nah. I am tired of taking fake sick days. I have done that for too long, and I am just tired of it. I want to just be patient. Patience is an art you have to teach your self to perfect. It is pretty much the hardest thing we humans can ever try to do. Patience. What a powerful idea.

It is also my sister’s 13th birthday today. Oh no. She is a teenager now!!

Advice, Blah Blah, Random Thoughts, Whatever!

I got tired of reading stupid comments from people. I decided that what people need is some old style Arabic music and belly dancing. This is what you guys want me to post. Right? No stories because you guys can’t comprehend my thoughts and I wasn’t general enough yesterday and made it specific that people took offense by it.. and I got tired of their stupid comments that make no sense.

My taste of Music

You know, no matter how life turns out, and how happy I am, I will always be the mean person that uses her blog to say something out of the ordinary against someone, because that someone will piss me off no matter what!

One thing that amazes the hell out of me is Arab men or maybe it is just men. I don’t understand why some are weak. They are very weak when it comes to love and relationships and dealing with life in general. Today was funny. Do most of you remember why I made this blog back in 2005? Do you guys know that I made this site to get back at someone that I used to be with? I am not a talkative person in real life. I am a real quiet and shy person. I talk only if I had to and in a 1-1 conversations only. You never find me in a group talking. So at times, I don’t know how to express my self, so I write. I used to email a lot and that’s how I expressed my self.

After a while, emails no longer worked, and I used this site as a method to communicate with those who chose to listen. I didn’t force anyone to listen. I didn’t make anyone read my site. So what did I do? I knew exactly who read it and what they were looking for. I used it against them. Why? Because I was mean. I was very mean and hateful, and wished I could move a mountain and slam it on someone’s head. That’s how revengeful and hateful I was.

However, life moved on. In the past 6 – 8 months I occupied my self with work and work and how to hate work. It worked! I kept my mind off of everything else in life and focused on that part only. It stressed the hell out of me, but I had to. I had to forget my past, to hate to love, and love to hate. I mean, 8 – 9 months ago I used to get emails from him asking for me to give him a second chance. To tell me sappy emotional stories so I would feel sorry and use my simple loving heart to feel sorry. However, I didn’t. I had to stop it and I used hateful words that would never come out of my mouth to end it. It was the only way. I used my site and emails against him. I had no choice. I wanted it to stop.

To stop? It stopped. However, I was not weak. I ended it with my own hands, and I did not sit and cry night and day and beg my parents to find me someone so I can “forget.” That’s the lamest weakest action any person can take. I know so many people that did it. They lost a love, and ended up with someone else quicker than a cat running away from the rain.

Fools. 100% fools. If you are reading this and you did that in your life, then you are a fool and you should be ashamed of your self and you will live a horrible life, because you did NOT choose it. You let SOMEONE else do it for you.

So a few months passed after his desperate attempts to stay in touch with me. I say it was about 4 or 5 months after that I heard he was getting engaged this summer. I was a bit shocked, but what did I except from a weak person? To marry some girl from another country that knows shit about him or anyone that knows him to move on with his life like nothing happened.

That was then. This is today.

My mom went to a funeral for one of her friends that died of cancer 2 days ago. And today was the 3rd day and they had to go to the mosque for prayers over her dead soul. So she went to another big mosque off the highway in my city.

Then, she tells me this with a bit of disdain in her words.

“Oh God! I saw so and so mother. (His mother) She wouldn’t stop talking about her self and family and her trip. She went to Bulgaria for her son’s engagement (him), or I thought. Then she told me that no no. IT wasn’t an engagement but a wedding. He got married real quick and now on his honeymoon in Turkey. Finally she got rid of all the boys in the house and they moved on with their life. She had to get him married real quick. He was sad because he loved and didn’t work and was in a bad situation. So his mom just found him a girl and the story is done.”

When my mom told me that I DIED laughing. My mom has no clue who and what happened. She knows nothing, but knows many Arabs in this city. She then asked me, “why you laughing?” I said, “nothing.. I just think it is a funny story for a person that loved and didn’t work out to end up marrying anyone even if she was miles away to ‘forget.’ I just find it hilarious.”

My mom then said, “yah well. That’s men for ya and parents with old style mentality that still live in the 19th century, not 20th or 21st!”

I find it funny that guys that knew me end up wanting to desperately forget me by getting married really quick! Why? I am not THAT special! I am Mona. I know how to take care of my self, live life fully, don’t take shit from people, have a sharp uncontrollable tongue, and not afraid of what life will bestow upon me.

Anyways.. I laughed and laughed. I haven’t talked shit about him for a long time. Even my best friend when she came a couple of weeks ago to see me was happy that I don’t mention or talk about him. What’s there to talk about really? He is an ass from a past life time that I had to endure, and life moved on. Case closed. After I officially leave work in exactly 2 weeks, then that entire chapter of my life will be completely closed. Screw it. I suffered enough from the age of 20 till 27. SEVEN years! Time for a new chapter of my life to begin! The past is meant to be forgotten!
