I am going to explode
7/09/08 @ 8:26 pm
I shall explode soon, from EATING! My mom cooks and our neighbor down the street almost every day sends us food. I am going to explode from the food! I love Ramadan, but my stomach doesn’t.
I need to tell my brain this, “See food, abstain from its goodness. See food, only taste a bite and not eat it all! See food, and don’t sit all day or you will die!”
Unemployment is sinful.
Eating delicious food is sinful.
I feel sinful. I feel I committed gluttony! Oh my poor sweet savory soul. :cake:
I feel like ice cream now to cool it all off. :grr:

In Ramadhan, no matter how little I eat in Iftar, I feel so heavy and about to explode.
The first days I thought that I was actually eating a lot, but then when I told myself I will only eat very little in Iftar so I don’t feel as heavy again, I still felt so heavy and felt like exploding.
The feeling’s mutual!
normally i take the light first…then after pray..i will take the heavy one..
When you eat less your metabolism slows and your stomach shrink. So it -feels- like your eating alot but your really not. i think its awesome now that my stomach is smaller, ive actually saved a bit of money from not eating so much.
ehh, I never suffered in ramadan or felt like i want to eat sth ! , i just stay on the pc and time flies by !
What do people do during Ramadan if they are diabetic? I am just curious. Waiting to eat until nighttime and then eating a heavy meal isn’t good for a person’s blood sugar level. A healthy person can do it but their body doesn’t love them for it but a diabetic person I hate to think what would happen. Is there some trick that a person uses to get through the day? Personally, I would be one very miserable person if I had to wait until nighttime to eat. I start to get cranky if I am half an hour late eating!
If a person is under heavy meds or relies on meds, they are not required to fast at all.
