Who needs a boss?
Week in review
1. I have been unemployed for a week.
2. Laziness took a new toll in my life.
3. I have more time to read novels and finish them within a week.
4. I have more time to browse the net and find new online opportunities to make money.
5. I just need a way to make $500 bucks a month to pay loans and bills so I won’t dig into my savings.
6. I have been visiting a lot more blogs and reading them through Entrecard.
7. I had time to watch 3 movies and actually enjoyed them in the comfort of my own couch.
8. Ramadan has been a blast this year. I don’t have to go to work and suffer smelling food or hearing profanity from some people.
9. I cook a lot more and I enjoy it. I am going to make phyllo spinach pastries and cheese! ![]()
10. I sleep in and I no longer have major headaches and fatigue.
11. I don’t sit on the computer pretending to work anymore.
12. I don’t have to pretend to be nice to an ungrateful boss who lacks authority and anything to do with management.
13. I am planning to make a new website template for this blog in the next few days. I just need an inspiration and something different.
14. I still get the odd idiots leaving their email and phone number thinking my site is a dating site.
15. I have not had hate mail in a long time because my Arabic audience have decreased by 50% over the past 4 months.
Phew. All that in a week!
Google Chrome. Two thumbs down!
I downloaded the new Google Chrome, and I wasn’t impressed. I wasn’t wowed at all! However, every blogger or Twitter messages out there announced it. It’s like they will get more traffic by saying how great it is. I say two thumbs down! It still needs a lot of improvements, a lot of features, and a long way to go compared to the awesomeness of Mozilla Firefox. I don’t find the immediate need to switch to it. I want a browser that will do everything! I mean EVERYTHING!
Grammar Police
I always get a few smart asses coming to my site and pointing the obvious, the GRAMMAR atrocities! I S U C K A T G R A M M A R. I will admit it. The reason I do is because I am not writing a novel. I only check spelling and that’s it! I write the way I talk in real life, and since this is a personal blog, I write like an average person for anyone to read. Even those who write the greatest novels of all time, have grammar mistakes. That is why they hire editors to fix them before publication! However, I am poor and I can’t afford to hire anyone. So don’t volunteer! I don’t give a crap!

I have been thinking of quiting my job too, i took an interview last week which went nowhere, so now i am faced with the possibility of nothing to go to…but i am still resolved enough to do it. I will check your website to check up on you and take example! Seems you are quite brave! I am not depressed, just feel immensely undervalued and a little exploited
I quit it and it was the best thing I ever did. No turning back and no regrets.
I am glad things are getting better for you. I hope you weren’t considering those work at home jobs because most of them are scams. The internet has just given them a new twist. There is no such thing as easy money. From my experience, you have to work your butt off just to even make 500 bucks. Anyways now is the time to do all the stuff you always put off doing because you had to go to work. I am sure you got a big long list of things you want to do. :spin:
Yah I know.. I have been doing my research and most of them are scams. I am gonna do some freelance work through scriptlance.com soon.. but for now.. I am enjoying the ride..
A lot of people say it’s good because it has the Google brand which is pretty sad.
There are a few nice things though…
It’s Fast in handling page requests and it’s really light. I like how it handles downloads, pop-ups and checking links when you rollover them. The search function in the address bar is pretty slick too.
Am I missing it or does it not have a homepage button? I use iGoogle and have a lot of gadgets on it so I like to go back to my start page often. It’s annoying typing in google.com to access it.
well, talking about google chrome, it surely has a better java engine plus it is an open source engine so it should get more attention and more features !
other than that, I think google would agree with firefox on a same level of extensions support, and that would give chrome a big advantage
Still, i am not satisfied with its look, plus google lately started a lot of projects and like, never finished any of them in a good way :S
