October contest, win an iPod shuffle!
Do you want to win a brad new 1 gig iPod shuffle?! The social activity for October is quite simple and fun. It is called “Blog about your favorite blogger day” which will be held on October 27, 2008. The activity was quite successful last year and lots of people participated. All you have to do that day is dedicate a post on who your favorite blogger and why.
How to enter?
However, this year there is a little twist. This year, the activity requires you to spread the word not only on your blog, but also on other blogs, sites, social networks, or forums. The more people you inform, the higher the points. All I request for you is to provide me the links or a proof that you did.
The winner is determined by the number of people that they reached.
The contest closes on the 27th. All proofs must be emailed to me by the 28th. Winner will be announced on the 29th of October.

Anyone can enter from anywhere in the world.
Prize winner
Winner will be announced on my site and contacted via email the next day. I will mail out the prize soon after. I will not be responsible if the prize got lost in the mail. So if you live in a country that has iffy mail problems, then don’t blame me! :p

No No NO! Don’t spam other sites. Maybe talk about in a forum.. or use a social networking tool you like and advertise this contest. On other sites maybe tell the blog or site owner about the contest if they are interested in advertising it. That’s all.
Sorry, can I know how the numbers of people reached can be calculated ? Do you have any tracking code that will know where visitor came from ? For example, by placing http://feedjit.com you can know visitor came to this page from which site. Or you need the participants to email you all the sites he/she has posted/spread about this contest ? I’ll blog about this soon. Thanks.
