Hi, I love ur blog. Anyway, here’s my take—yeah, kids can be racists too. I encountered some of them. I even posted an entry in my blog entitled, “Only my White People Can Come”–uttered by a 5 year old girl .

The child is still too young to be a racist. Given the wrong path and the wrong direction with the help of an irresponsible elder the child will be a racist skinhead.

The child is still too young to be a racist. Given the right path and the right direction with the help of a responsible elder the child will be a non-racist.

Yes, she should speak up and tell the girl that is a racist remark. Chances are it won’t do any good because racism runs very deep, unfortunately.

She is young and she will eventually learn how best to deal with such situations.
