Internet: Where is the NyQuil?

Hello people. Tell me what time is it in Eastern time, Canada? It’s ok, I will tell you. It is past 2:30 am. Yes, it is a little late for a person who is just sitting there doing nothing, and cannot sleep.

Did I ever mention that I suffer from insomnia? I think I did in the past when I spent up to 72 hours wide awake and writing the silliest posts ever. Yes, those were the days. However, why am I still awake today when I am worry free? I need an answer! Where the hell is a shrink when you need ‘em?

My insomnia pushed me to the limit tonight. I am fully awake. I don’t even yawn. I am more alert now than after consuming my mug of coffee in the morning. Why don’t I have any drugs? Where are the drugs?!

I used to take sleeping pills, and swallow NyQuil just so I can have my 5 hours of sleep! But no. I got nothing today. Nada. Zip.

Errr. I am very angry now, and I am ready to shoot my self to sleep! Maybe, just maybe, that might work. :vangry:

Lack of iron, derived from meat (lamb, mutton and especially beef), leads to insomnia, even if iron supplements are taken. Verify this with your doctor.

Well.. me.. when i didn’t get enough sleep or could not sleep i tried slow types of music. These really help a lot to help me sleep. Why don’t you try it too.

Mona, I shouldn’t bore you with information which you can easily find through Google. Could it be the surrounding environment in your bedroom; the lightings, the room temperature etc? You mentioned above that ‘those were the days.’ Does that mean that you are having problem sleeping again for these few nights? If you are, could there be anything on your mind or any changes that may cause the problem?

In anyway, you can get to my link above and try out some breathing methods if you are having problem sleeping. Hope it’ll help.

The iron content in spinach and broccolli, although it is relatively high for vegetables, is very low compared to the iron in meats. It is also not as easily absorbed into ur blood stream :P

@Lisa – keep your knowledge to the magazine. Your responsible of informing others of better eating habits, not a stubborn goat like me. :P
