I am not your immigration ticket

By: Mona

Google Buzz

I don’t understand how people think sometimes. Especially men. I love men, but some seriously need some help. They need some guidance to the new world, or some way to explain to them that us girls or any Arab Canadian or American family is not their ticket to come here. We really are not, and we are not obligated to do so, and we are not even related to you. Really. Being an Arab does not mean we are related to you.

Marriage

Arab men one day think to them selves, “my God, I hate living in my Arab country around people of my own kind. I want to make more money and go to the western world. Let me find a girl that will do all the paper work for me! Free ride to North America.” Good job! What do I call those Arab girls? Dumb. What do I call those Arab guys? Unmanly and fucking retarded.

Work

Arab men one day think to them selves, “my God, I hate living in my Arab country where I make a decent living and not pay taxes, and feel like I am working along side my people. To be part of the community and culture, and strive to be better. To open businesses, and be a world leader.” Nop. They want to come to the new world and think it is so easy to find work here and they can ask ANY Arab, “I want to come to Canada. Hook me up. If you can’t, ask your family, and everyone else you know.” I am not joking. This is the latest trend. They don’t want to find a girl from here, because they want money first. Then, when they settle in these lands, they marry some FOB girl from back home who is too young to drive and bring her over with a fake birth certifcate.

Ranting

I have not ranted yet. You think what I said above was ranting? No. Not even close to what I am about to say about this.

Fuck you idiots who think that way. Get a life. Come and immigrate to these lands like the rest of us who were hopping from one country to another to find a place to call our home. Pay your way to get here. Don’t fucken take the easy route! People did not get here over night. Life is NOT that simple. Also, if you did not come from a war torn country, or a country with serious problems, then why the hell you want to come here? Why you want to be a foreigner? Some of us WISH we had a land to go back to and call it our home. So get a life and stay put in your God damn land, and thank the Lord that you still have a functioning country. Stay in it and make it better you dumb ass!

lol, you’d be surprised at the number of retarded indian guys i know whose mental gears creak to the same grease.

Its an attitude endemic to certain *cough* male-dominated societies ALL over the world; not just the arab-FUBARlandz. (seriously, no offense intended)

It doesn’t make sense to an outsider who grows up without the native’s perspective to the whole immigration-at-any-cost meme. My dad and mum immigrated to Oman from India to find better prospects. I was born and grew up in that arab country. Once i reached my late teens, I longed to live in a place where I wasn’t treated like second-class citizen waste.
Now , you couldn’t make me leave India unless you offered me a 100MBps Fiber internet connection or something. Real Freedom of expression is not something that you find everywhere, even in the US. (I think Canada is neutral on that issue)

Arabs? Make our countries better? All we care about is our own selfish needs. And when you combine our Arabness with our masculinity you get a recipe for disaster.

And Gulfies are the worst representation of us as Arabs.

Yes, let the idiot Gulfies stay in their soulless cities complaining about the “slaves” who built their f****** countries.

It’s a shame they’re so prevalent in Britain/US/Canada – because Westerners end up thinking we’re all that shallow.

@Sasa – I actually have a story about the Gulfies, but I will leave that to another day.

@TI3GIB – do you think I was stupid or something the first time when you wrote the acronym of my name? There was no need to elaborate the obvious dumb ass. And stop using that word! Why you think I got mad the first time.. My name is MONA anyways! Use that instead.
And I do not hate Arab guys. I hate STUPID people!

Very funny I really enjoyed your expressions you have a talent in expressing people thoughts in a humor way,,,

But the easy marriage immigration ticket works with some guys, so for sure others will give it a try,,, I know a story personally, she married him, she did all the things needed all the paper works for him, he immigrated, he worked in her shop, the next day after he got the citizenship, he filled for a divorce, took half of the shop by law ,,, its a true story . I know another similar story but with a good ending .

Conclusion : to stop arab idiot men from thinking about the easy marriage immigration ticket you have to stop arab idiot western girls from helping them .

    Hey!

Sorry that you are going through a rough couple of days :(

The situation is the same over here (in the UK) with Asian families. The number of Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi families getting screwed by guys and gals looking for the red passport is crazy! The number of people in their 20s, whose marriages are ending in divorce within 2-3 years is on the rise big time here.

at least you didn’t grow up in dearborn like I did. No one ‘asks’ there; it’s just assumed you’ll hook them up with visas and wifery.

Wow touchy subject. Being mexican american in USA I can empathize with arabs wishing to go to America/Europe. I don’t think there are many people who don’t wish for a better future. Whether the reality of “western” countries lives up to their expectations is a different story. I suppose it all depends on your socio-economic background.

I don’t think its easy for anyone to move away from their home. Marriage has always had an economic aspect.. whether its people marrying to immigrate to the Americas or those marrying for immediate financial security. Call me a cynic but I don’t really believe its all about love.. if it were then why would property be divided in half in divorce? Marrying solely for love is a sweet bedtime story.. what they don’t tell you is that in america nearly half of all marriages end in divorce. :(

Well, thats like here in the U.S. Since being in the military life pretty much all my life you’d be amazed at the non-U.S. women who flock to the American soldiers just for a free ride to the U.S. I remember when my hubby and I lived in Germany, it was insane! Then what makes me mad is that when they are in the country they desire they shit all over it like…”WTF? If this country is so bad why the hell did you want to come to it in the first place?”

    Some people are just stupid.
