This is what keeps us alive

We all have this thing inside of us that keeps us alive. It is called hope. We hope for many things to happen to us. I think if we didn’t hope at all, we would not have a reason to live in this horrible world. We try our best to hope for a better future, a better career, and a better life. We really just live our lives daily hoping. That’s all we really can do. We try our hardest, and hope for the best.

Lately, I have been hoping a lot. The more I hope, the more I dream at night. I think the subconscious somehow works extra hard when all you do is think and hope a lot.

Really, do you think the reason you are still alive, and anyone for that matter, is due to that hope? I think it is the reason I stayed sane for so long. I think hope gives me that dream and a better outlook to the future. It helps me get up in the morning every day and think to my self, “Today is hopefully a better day.”

Super post again! The message is short, sharp and simple!

I was listening to a doctor based in Gaza on the radio yesterday, and he pretty much said the same thing – The people of Gaza are desperate, damaged psychologically, and will do anything to get the basics. But the hope of a better tomorrow is keeping them going.

I think if people in such a distressed condition have hope for the future, then that should be the benchmark for anyone.

Inshallah God gives everyone the strength to maintain the simplest of hope (ameen!).

I don’t believe in hope, sorry. I am a fighter, I will fall or fail. I will get back up, that is what keep my fire burning like an inferno. I pray and meditate just for an understanding of myself. It is always about me, how can I be a better person and I never blame other people. In my world or belief there is no room for hope, I dream to give me a better mental outlook. My dream is for people to lay their hate about pity stuff like religion, culture, and so forth. I am mistaken for being Arabic, Mexican, and I sometimes Muslim. Here is the cool part or messed part, they are not even close. People just want to hate, and why is it hard to love people instead. No matter how much you hate me, I will do nothing but love you. It is the only way!

I think we should all be fighters and not just sit there and do nothing but hope. I was talking about working hard, and then hoping for the best. We all have to have a little bit of faith of what the results are. :)

Hope is surely one of the basic necessities of life, after you have had your breakfast. But I think that hope is at the core of why people continue trying, believing in themselves, believing that the future can be different than the past, believing that there is something to hold on for.

Sometimes, though, there is huge boulder stuck in the middle of the tunnel that leads to where there is supposedly the light. Hope is the only way you can wear away at the boulder–that you can contend with the boulder, and reach for whatever light you yearn.
