U2 Palestinian Dream Obama Inauguration Concert

That was a long pause before he mentioned Palestine. I think he had to really think about it, almost career suicide to be seen showing any resemblance of support for us. I don’t think anyone other than Bono can get away with that.

U2 rocks.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but Obama is no different from any other president who has ignored the pleas and cries of the arab world and people. We will still not be left alone, countries with dictatorships and corruption will still reign (ie. Egypt..), so nothing will change.

If anything, if you look at the history and background of those surrounding Obama, they’ve had a history of always backing Israel (Joe Biden).

So. Nothing will change. And I feel sorry for those with any sort of hope for him. He does not honestly bring any ounce of inspiration or hope for me, but meh?

For whatever reason… Bono finds an Irish accent when he is on our shores… and as soon as he crosses the pond, he is all yank again…

You ain’t the only one SA… I know I’ve said it here before, but the bigger the voice the bigger the impact…
