A conversation

“You know that you are not crazy right?”
“What makes you think I am not?”
“Have you ever heard of a crazy person admitting that they are crazy?”
“No. I never did.”
“Then you are not crazy. You just haven’t figured out the entire plan yet.”
“What entire plan am I supposed to figure out?”
“You have to figure out the rest. You are half way there. You are on the right track.”
“Right track to what exactly? I am doing nothing.”
“Yet, in people’s eyes, you are doing something that grabs attention. Did you forget who you are? Aren’t people wondering about you?”
“Maybe. But I always thought it was pity.”
“Pity? You use strong words. Very strong words for something that is not. Try again.”

I enjoy the writing, and I can relate which is why I read. I don’t think any regular reader has pity.
Hmmmm….
Actually I pity all humans because we always make things harder for ourselves than it has to be, but that’s all a part of experiencing and learning about the reality we live in and learning how to cope and deal with the life we are given or chose to be in. I enjoy your blog because your funny and I like hearing your take on the world and the people in it. I drop on you through Entrecard when I see your widget some I ignore.
Hi Mona! You’ve been tagged for Valentine’s Day!

Hmmm…interesting. But yeah, you’re not crazy. You’re just doing too much thinking.
Okay first I’m drunk so excuse typos etc. I’m crazy and i know I am, it’s proven by doctors and scientists honest – so scrap that. But besides the madness I’m really glad there’s at least one other mad blogger out there doing their own thing, you know what’s crazy? The world. Everyone else and everything they say, the fact is the world is screwed and everyone is acting like it’s fine, but it ain’t it’s screwed. You and me should write a book, tell them how it is, it’s totally messed up and “normal” people are now mad, they don’t know it because they’re are so many of them out there but it is, I can guarantee you that much. Sanity died a long time ago, don’t ask me when, perhaps when the oil started running out or when the USA decided to bomb Iraq instead of Afghanistan, or maybe when they vote din Bush or the UK fell for Blair, or music became a computer program, or pop stars started looking like models, or corporations tried to be funky I don’t know but I got left out of the loop way back when. Don’t trust “normal” people, they are the main characters for most conspiracy theories, especially the sympathetic ones, learn to love your difference if you can, it gives me a buzz just reading your rants, so you know you’re connecting out there, with someone, it’s possible to not agree with reality and be alive, I’m living proof. I’ve told everyone who’s showed me pity in the past to F off because I know they don’t get it, they are on planet sane, and that place is for those who are too scared to ask questions, the rest of us do and we don’t like the answers, but at least we have the cahunas to ask. Anyway I will slink off now and drown in my glass of wine, but one last thing, well done, well done for telling it like it is, because you’re right, and anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong, they are more scared than you are, they think they know what’s best but they don’t because your “craziness” is freaking them out and they just want to get back to the 2.4 kids and the semi-detached and the new car and job and not worry about it. But they should, because, as I mentioned earlier, the world is truly screwed. Right, I need to get drunk and stare at the meaningless TV screen, but remember, you are most definitely not alone, madness is the new sanity.
@Paul Baines
Very very interesting perspective. I feel that I have known you for a long long time.. very long time.
I don’t know that I totally agree with the conversation, I totally know I’m crazy! Most of my friends confirmed it when I quit my job this past week to be a freelance writer, but hey as long as I’m doing what I love who cares, right?

You quit your job? Than you are purely sane! I salute your courage!
