By: Mona

Google Buzz

If you would ever meet me in person, and you know me well enough through my blog, what would you talk to me about? Like seriously..

By the way.. Happy anti-Valentines day peepz.

I will be back later with more stories of the adventures of this morning. Only in my house… Ta ta!

    Hola,

I’ve only had the chance to read some of your things yesterday, but I would talk to you about, mmmm, let’s say, Wordpress as a CMS platform, health benefits of zeit o za’tar, and maybe try to turn you into an openSource evangelist. Or on a separate issue, KSA vs Canada…

You know, I would really like to meet you in person… Seems like we have quite a few things in common :-) So well, let’s just sit down and be silent :-D

I would talk about the contrasts/clashes with what your mom feels you should be verses what you want to be. I face many differences with my mom and me not fitting the mold of a 1940s-early 1960s woman, so she says I’m “acting out” well into my 20s.

Really no idea. What really fascinates me of this blog, and therefore of you, is about being a modern woman within a Muslim contex, what for me is something essentially contradictory but for you seems like natural (though yes: you also notice and expose many contradictions, as I have been able to read).

And I’d probably touch astrology, I guess. I’m not much into it right now but used to be one of my passions not long ago.

Recently, Jade recomended the book “Palestine Peace not Apartheid” (by Jimmy Carter) to me. Reading through the book, it is easy to see that what is happening today is no different to what has been having from day 1. Although politics of this sort bother me a touch (because no mater how much you debate it, it wouldn’t make a great deal of difference) – you seem to have a good insight from an “insiders” point of view in to the thoughts of people affected by the conflict.

I would love to talk to you in an interview style (like 60 minutes or something), and get your view on it.

Or we could talk about turtles – whatever :P

I would love to hang out with you just to see how you are in real life. You seem like a down to earth, honest, crazy, funny type of gal!

Let me answer a slightly different question.

I’d like to hear you blog more about Arab culture, the Palestinian POV that we don’t hear too much about it, theories on life and people, and your ideas for computer programs and other technology.

I’d like to see some pics of London with the new camera as well. I like to see places I have never been (and places I’ll never go) as well as hear new ideas and perspectives.
