The day I realized I am vintage
Which was yesterday, but I think I slept through it.
I am currently browsing through good old awesome YouTube, and I landed on some songs I have not heard since early highschool. Grade 9, or 10. In grade 9 I was 13.5 years old! 13.5!! I then thought to my self, this is not a way to reminiscent the past, because I will start counting days and years, and realize that I am way older than I thought.
The other day, my dad was saying to me, “oh we can’t wait till you get married!” My mom disappointingly replied, “Why? She is still young!” My eyes popped out of my head the moment my mother uttered those word: “SHE IS STILL YOUNG!”
I think my mom had too much mixed caffeinated drinks, if you know what I mean.
However, what can I say, I lived through the 90’s, and I know some of my readers were friggen toddlers at the time, but mid 90’s music had a certain appeal to it. It is a lot better than what is aired today. Oh, 90’s music. It brought back many memories.
I feel like dancing. Who wants to rock it out with me? I am bored. I have no friends to hang out with.
I had to add this song. I love the movie, well, who doesn’t like sappy old love tragedy story Romeo and Juliet in modern times?
Oh those Capulets and Montagues. Will they ever get along? Also, can we say Leonardo will always be hot?
Blah Blah, My taste of Music, Sleepy Post, They said what?, Whatever!

I love the movie Romeo & Juliet I always cry when I watch it, just like Titanic and The Notebook. Oh and Leonardo has been my favorite actor since he played in Titanic.
@Lela
Titanic is over rated. I like The Notebook, best movie ever! The ending made me cry and cry.
I had to smile at your comment that music of the 90s was better than the music of today. Afterall, the great music stopped being made around 1993. 1979 thru 1993 were truly the golden years for music.
Actually, what I think happens is that no matter the year someone is born, “they” stop making consistently good music around the time that person is 22 or 23.
Leo was not that attractive when he was younger *duck and cover manouver to hide from angry fans
* Seriously, he only properly manned up and became hot in The Departed, it was the first time I could take him seriously. When he had his sad fae on in Titanic/Romeo and Juliet I’d just think “oh shut up and go home to mummy”.
@Natalie
The Departed was a kick ass movie!
my favorite part in the movie titanic was when jack sinks and kate says “jack come baaaaaack, come baccccck”. I laughed so hard the first time I saw that scene in the movie.
You are not as vintage as me I remember when Michael Jackson had a glove and Wham was a hit!
@yazan
You are lame.
