Too many people freelance. Especially high school kids that make stuff cheaper cuz they only want money.

I am working on some other stuff. I am still thinking and planning.

You are 28, you don't want to spend the rest of your life working for other people, you have a skill that you can make money with from the comfort of your bedroom, and your parents want u to take it easy. So why are you looking for a job instea dof researching how to leverage the skills that you have?
Just wondering, I wish I had it all to do over again, I would have freelanced

I'm sorry that job interview sucked. Any job that requires that long of an interview better be a good job, but if they are looking for that many people and don't even check resumes they are not that type of job. My job as a professor took that long, but I expected it. I hope it is not because you are female, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

Hehehe.. My parents are classic. They just see me stressed all the time and pulling my hair and want me to take it easy. Oh well.

Sapphire is right. I went to one of those, too. The thing was the place _smelled_ strange. There was something off about the whole thing. They offered a lot and required a little regarding credentials.

I think a lot of us can relate to the job hunting stories. I appreciate reading about other people who had similar experiences. I thought I was the only over-educated loser who could not find a job! I do envy your parents, however. They are the greatest.

Meh.. I don't care. I don't work in sales or marketing. Not my thing. It was selling advertising for companies, which was even more lame. I don't do that kind of work. I rather sit at home than be pulled into such trashy jobs.

Oh my gawd! You realize what kind of job ad you just answered was for a marketing scam company? :???: All they do is sales and marketing those types of companies. They always say they are expanding and make it sound like there are all kinds of different jobs when really it is just selling stuff door to door or business to business for straight commission. The stuff is usually junk that no wants and is a hard sell. I had friend who got stuck selling bottled water door to door for a month for straight commission. Needless to say she didn't make much money. Those companies are a joke. I've myself have answered a few of those job ads when I was in my early twenties and didn't know about what job scams were are out there. Just because it looks like job ad doesn't mean there is actually a real job on offer. You need to be more careful in the future about what job ads you answer. If it is vague and doesn't state what the duties and qualifications for the job are don't answer it. The biggest tip off is when there is no job title and it requires no experience yet they claim you will make 500 to a 1000 a week! I find newspaper want ads to be the worst for vague job ads and I have never had any luck answering a job ad in a newspaper.

<a href="#comment-43103" rel="nofollow">@Brian</a>
My secret is that when you are angry and fed up with everything in life, that going though a job scavenger hunt is just another part of your life. Not a big deal anymore. Just another problem in your life that you try to deal with like any other problems.
