To infinite and beyond!

Lately, many people have been landing on my site looking for work. Or looking for a way to find work. I guess many people have the same problem. Well, duh. That’s obvious with the crappy economy.

Maybe I should try to be more comforting to the masses. For those unemployed IT people, and there are many you, start a blog. Complain enough about the world and economy, and blame the world leaders you voted for. :D Afterwords, curse the day you completed your higher recognizable education and your work experience for many years, and have as many people as possible read it. Maybe then, we can all find each other and start a clan of unemployed bloggers. Maybe someone will hire us to complain some more! :D

Doesn’t life suck? It’s Thursday, March 12, 2009. And we live in a technology based world, and there are no jobs, and more and more people are loosing their jobs.

Time for a long vacation and stop worrying about work. There are NONE! It’s all fake job advertisements or jobs where they want every single type of skill, and pay you in 1950’s currency value. :mad:

    I think it’s awesome being an unemployed blogger. All these people are complaining about the economy, while we’re just sitting comfortably in the same place as always, with nothing to lose. :wink:

    I am an unemployed blogger as well and at first it was no fun – seeing that my resume was (forget being modest) extremely good – and I couldn’t find a bloody job!
    My parents didn’t get it and thought I was ’slacking’ but thankfully they have realized that there are basically no jobs in the community we are in,and there won’t be very many to come.

    Blogging eases the pain,and so do random donations to my PayPal lol

    Great site habibty

    Nice blog. I am adding it to my blog roll. I removed the donate button long time ago, because I got ppl complaining saying that I should care more about ppl in 3rd world countries and not beg for money on the net. Aren’t people lame?

    Thankfully I haven’t gotten any complaints and if I do I would reply simply with,”and who’s page is this again?”

    3ama some people have no respect – you can do as you please with your own page,thus having a button for anyone to donate is your own decision – it takes a lot to keep up a site and often times it helps to receive donations from people.

    They aren’t being forced to give you money and you aren’t blatantly asking for it out right.

    And yea wle ;) people can be lame lol

    DO IT! lol
    habibty,people will complain about anything and everything in order to try and bring you down.
    Your site is your baby,you helped bring it into this world – and whether you want to stick a donate button onto its forehead or not is your business.

    When I put the button up I never asked anyone to do anything,I just pasted the code and said to myself “whoever gives will give..I’ll just write and move on”

    Yallah wle put it back up.

    I am so sick of the economy troubles. I guess I should consider myself lucky because the hubby still has a job. I blog and stay home with my baby girl and am going to finish up nursing school but it’s not enough. We just were informed my husband is getting a 5% paycut. We’re supposed to just be thankful he isn’t layed off…but it’s hard.

    Homous and falafel? I feel bloated from just hearing that! lol Why you call me Umm ras? Is my head that big! :D

    @Sandi
    5% pay cut? Jeez. That’s horrible. But you are in a good field. Nursing.. that’s what the good jobs are!

    I’d be happy to pay a little every month to read your blog, you give out entertainment and pay for it out of your own pocket. You put up with crappy advice and spamtastic emails as a consequence of leaving your thoughts public so that people like me can enjoy them. I personally see nothing at all wrong with web owners asking for donations, it’s not like there’s going to be a big siren go off and call you a cheapskate if you don’t pay up, it’s voluntary!

    I liked the last sentence best. Totally hilarious because it is true. I have found so many jobs that want all these skills and they want to pay less than $15USD per hour. How lame is that? That’s almost minimum wage for a college degree. Maybe I should go to grad school so I’m qualified to bag groceries. :)

    I’m glad donate button is back up. I’m actually shocked you took it down for a while.

    What about working in the gaming industry? The hours are long though but you can get pretty good benefits depending on the company. I work in it.. but I’m a designer so I’m sure the hours are not AS crazy as the engineers.

    Just wondering, what is your favorite type of blogs? Do you have any blog recommendations?

    I am curious if you really get a good amount of donations? I never really thought anyone would donate.

    I took it down because I got too many complainers. Now it is back up again because I don’t care anymore.

    @Katy
    Well, I used to make games, but not professional games. Like flash games and stuff. Simple crap. Not really my interest anymore. I rather do something higher, or enjoy web work.

    @Lela
    Yah.. people donate if they think a site is worth it. I am not selling anything, but entertaining and having life discussions. People pay over 80 bucks an hour for a psychologist to listen to them or give them advice. I do it for free! :D
