Ah-ha… I always long for that kind of vacation too! My next in line in New Zealand. I hear it’s pretty beyond words there.

I already live in an island though.. Australia IS an island, a BIG one nonetheless! Open invitation to you to stay over at my place anytime- with us and the cat. We have a spare room!

Tickets… well.. I’m quite broke myself these days… but may be in near future sometime

hmmm.. Australia.. I always wanted to go to Sydney and other parts for sight seeing. I love Koala bears and Kangaroos!

Oh yes, Koalas and Roos (talking like ‘Aussies’ shortening words in everyway even remotely possible).. I think Melbourne is prettier than Sydney though… but that may be just me ..

well, it’s not an Island but my sister in law’s pie shop in Turkey is hiring for the easter holidays through summer Not only do you have a pool round the corner where all the staff go after a hard day’s work but you can eat pie and chips all day long. Should I pass your CV along :up:

hahahhaa.. no thanks! I don’t like chips at all! Pies? Questionable. I only like certain types of pies.. Aren’t I a picky bum?

My wife and I hated cold weather so we quit our jobs and moved to California. I still don’t have a job, but my wife is working. Hopefully, the grocery store will hire me soon. However, it was completely worth it. Everyday is like a dream, and things are actually nicer than I had ever imagined. So it’s not you; it’s the weather.

An island vacation sounds pretty awesome especially since the weather is still chilly in my area.

Why go so far away to the other side of the world when the closest (and warmest for that matter) island is only a stones throw away… Welcome to England! (Nobody likes the Scotts, Welsh and Irish, and its too cold there anyways)

We have something for everyone here… including the world famous Edgware road for Arabs where everything is “kullu halaal” (or so they say!)

I myself am planning South of Spain (Seville maybe) in May, and NYC in September. Neither is an island, but hope for awesome weather!
