Word of the day: Change.

Google Buzz

I am continuing with the tradition of defining words in my own personal Arabic way. So I picked a simple word, change.

Change: (verb) The action of telling someone to think outside of the box. However, for some, cultural or traditional upbringing won’t allow them.

Change: (noun) When someone ends up doing or thinking of something different than what they are used to, and are freed from the tiny bubble that they lived in.

What is your definition of change?

I got my inspiration from this awesome song I heard last night, and it is stuck on repeat. Love it! The words are purely amazing.

    Change (noun): when people stop following traditions that has no basis in religion and start working for them self instead of blaming other for their fauilres in life

    Change (verb): When you realize you are stuck in a rut and yearn for something different…so you go out and make a difference.

    Change: What cashiers and waitresses expect you to give to them despite their professionalism level of service. Especially if you pay for a $6 Starbucks with a $20 bill.

    I liked the noun definition of change best especially about the tiny bubble. Anything that gets us out of it. Without it, our brains will start to die.

    I don’t have any definition of Change. To me it’s now a brand meaning, “What Obama’s up to.” I can see his handsome face every time I hear the word. Let’s talk about “Hope”. :)

    ‘Be the change you want to see in the World’. Mona is the word :wink:
    I love the song by the way. It’s true: one shall love the person for who they are, CHANGE their own attitudes.

    A lonely thinker: Where art thou Time, thine pinnacle of thought, where do thine purpose go? Forever in change? Let thine Will stay still for a while. Let me relish this sweet moment before it fades in time.

    Time: Cowardly prick, i hate your song. That’s why i move on.

    ====

    Stubborn people never change. I’m saying and thinking in the same direction for the last 14 years. To correct some steps is nearly impossible, we need to face the consequences of deed. Time and change is on our side, if we have the will to walk along.

    The song is very disturbing. I felt that everything is not organized all of the sudden and a big mess in my mind.
