I miss doing that… but now I’m in Egypt and everyone understands arabic and english, so I cant do it anymore! Back in the day in Ukraine, it was so much fun being able to talk about whatever u want whenever u want, without anyone getting it. It’s only rude when you’re doing it in front of people u know, but if strangers find it rude, then they know there’s something wrong with them. No self confidence, so… YINFLI2O AND YIN7ER2O KAMAN, MA BYHEMNY!!

I think it is rude to speak in a foreign language around people who wouldn’t understand. It’s a matter of consideration and self-respecting decency. Just my opinion.

I see no problem with it. Language is about communication & if one language communicates it better, then so be it.

Languages languages. I love languages!! I should have continued studying Spanish so I can become better at it in Univ. Blah! However, I wrote enough Spanish essays in my days. That’s enough!

The only time it bothers me is if I am in a group of people and they are all speaking a language they know I don’t understand and they do speak English. Or if they are talking about me and I know they are, which is fun if they are speaking Spanish because they don’t expect a white girl to understand them, so I respond to them in Spanish. It’s kind of fun. Otherwise, it doesn’t bother me to hear people speaking another language around me. I love languages and accents so it’s kind of fun to hear.

I don’t look like my fellow countrymen! 20% of my class is from the same country where I come from. But they have got no idea that I understand their language perfectly….even I understand the indian and pakistani language.It’s funny to listen to people(and understand) especially when they know that you have no clue as to what they are saying. Funny when they sound pretty serious but actually talking about nothing!!
