What bugs you about Facebook?
My biggest pet peeve about Facebook is people’s pics. I find Facebook to be the “ok” place for people to post the following:
- Porn like posses. Example: photos taken from a top like angle where the chest is always showing.
- Pouting and sticking out the tongue or tongue to the side in every single pose. Don’t all humans have a similar tongue colour?
- Guys can show off their bare chest, and wait for a girl on his list to point it out.
- Girls can post porn like poses so the cute guy on her list that she has a crush on will notice.
And the list goes on!
My second pet peeve about Facebook is the people who keep inviting me to events, and I don’t even live in the same continent. Do some of you have over a million people on your list that you can’t sort out who you know personally or even lives anywhere in a 100k radius from you?
My third and final pet peeve about Facebook is people who keep changing their status every 5 minutes. Status is not a chat room, or Twitter. How do you expect people to click on that “I LIKE” link to your status if you keep changing it! Or do you think that Facebook should add a new feature where you can choose all statues that you posted in the past 30 min and click that you liked them all? Because I like to like. And me like what you people have to say. So spare me going through your profiles to see them all! How many times did I tell you people I AM LAZY! lool

Lol I couldn’t agree with you more! Imagine if people acted like that in real life, explaining every minute action as they undress in the street. I joined Facebook after some cajoling from a few artists I know to keep in touch, I can’t stand all the stupid invites and games. Then I was almost bullied into joining Twitter, again something I hardly use, I post excerpts of my blog, and say thanks now and again to those that follow me but really it’s not normal – but then again what is these days? I am now watching TV, typing, drinking some tea, typing again, micro-blogging is like living life in total paranoia, almost as if one doesn’t broadcast every single detail of their existence reality will suddenly disappear. Great post.
The things that i hate about fb are:
it eats up a big chunk of my valuable time…..
invitations from my siblings(and cousins)….
too much personal pictures….
Yes, all that. Plus, I hate when people put pictures of only their kids as their profile pic, or worse, a pic of them when they were a kid. How am I supposed to know it is you and not someone else with the same name?
I hate all the beads and drinks and crap. I don’t have time for that!

I hate stupid groups where people in them are racist specially the palastenian-jordanian thing, in the group definition they say we won’t tolereat racism while their wall post says another thing,
I hate the if we collect 10000000000000 signature then face book will delete another group or pa;tal will close a group that attacks the propher (pbuh), like hell if face book asks them collect me signatures
and yes the group thing is getting on people’s head…..
I have got friend’s who joined the groups like “I love Allah”, “I love Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)”, “salaat” etc…..when I know that they never say their own prayers!
Yes, people join religious groups, and join other types of groups as well. Maybe they just join everything for the sake of joining. It’s like, “OH MY GOD! SOMEONE ON MY LIST ACTUALLY INVITED ME TO JOIN SOMETHING!! I WILL I WILL!! YAY!! I DON’T CARE WHAT IT IS!”
No offense to religious people. But seriously, if you are that religious, why are you on Facebook looking at pics? :S

People are thinking that they are doing a good thing by joining the group “I love Allah”!! Whereas they are failing in doing the vary basic of their religious requirements!

So what else do you hate about Facebook? Other than the obvious!
What do I hate? The security breech/over kill. If you message anyone they can see your private profile forever. That aside, I hate that you can’t see someone’s public profile unless you’re in their network.
To tell you the truth, I love a lot of stuff there….That’s why I’m still there on faceboook!
It should be either completely private or totally public….keping it in the middle is quite confusing for some people. The other day one of my childhood friend commented on some girl’s “wall” thinking that it was private. The message appeared on my wall too….it embarrassed both of us(don’t know about the girl!)
Facebook is actually trying to be more like Twitter (huge fail) and I realized that ever since the last major change, a lot of people have been constantly updating their status’ just like Twitter.
