When to tell your conscience to shut up!

Stubbornness is one thing that I suffer from, but my continuous battle with this thing called conscience, is taking over my life. I know I do, think, or say things that make me wonder after a day or two that there is seriously something wrong with me. Then my stubbornness tells me to shut up. I am not going to admit that my conscience makes me feel guilty about certain things, but I try too hard to just tell it, “It is not the time for it! Leave me the hell alone!”

How do you know if your conscience is taking over? Well, when you continuously think of the same topic and certain people, then you cannot help but suffer from the following:

  1. Dreaming the same thing over and over, and make you want to bite someone’s ears out knowing you are guilty or did something wrong.
  2. Always feeling that someone is watching you, reading your thoughts, blog, or whatever that you publicly display without thinking twice.
  3. Keep wanting to turn back time so you can correct a mistake by ignoring or not even bothering to begin with.
  4. Not being able to focus on anything you are doing for more than 20 minutes.

I think I need to start taking happy drugs so I can actually play the part of a person who doesn’t give a shit about anything or anyone. I want to live a happy life! Worry free! Guilt free! :(

Man, why am I thinking too much of a Utopian life? I think I need to just get off the computer, go read a book, or take a nap. Hehehe, I said nap! I feel like a 5 year old! :D Can I be 5 again? :(

You would think not having your conscious is a good thing… Well it might… But do you think that you would be the same rebellious Arab girl that we grew to love and admire?

I seriously doubt that anyone can change his conscious, unless he/she went through some severe physical and emotional shit.

There is a constant feeling I have that I go offtopic in my replies on this blog!

And many many many thanks for the WP theme for PDA and iPhone, it’s amazing and makes reading and commenting a breeze! I should install it for my blog

Oh oh.. what a compliment.. Nice comment! And I just woke up from my tiny nap!!

Also, don’t worry. Everyone goes off topic on my blog. Somehow my blog posts always have this “other” viewpoint or “other” differing idea that should be addressed. lol I am used to it! :P

Glad that the wpTouch theme worked. I don’t have a iPhone or PDA to test it. I hope it looks good!

funny my conscious tells ME to shut up all the time and not vice versa. makes it a little difficult when I’m trying to do things that work me mentally. possibly your conscious stems back to your religious upbringing. in almost every other verse of al-kitaab allah is merciful and oft-forgiving. No need to take the pain and frustration out on the family, cus your forgiven…done deal ya know, no sweat.
i think to make a mistake is a life well lived. for without them how could we learn and grow as individuals?
i played this old game on the super nintendo and every character had a classically arranged theme song for him or herself. like age unto a song, it grows onto you after the first time youve heard it. so like a mistake it grows on you….no not like a leech or something my dear…but more like a flower growing from your ear. i dunno…i happen to like mistakes.

I am sure that guilt and your hidden conscience taking over your judgments sometimes, is all due to being raised in a religious God fearing environment.
