I got a silly email this morning from an idiot named Rebecca. She does not like Arabs. The media’s power permanently brain washed her tiny head. I am surprised she was able to find my site using the world wide interweb.The biggest invention in modern human society!
This is what she wrote:

Dear Mona (Rebellious Arab Girl): You gave 13 reasons why you hate being Arab, but you did not mention: Arabs invented airline hijacking, destroyed the World Trade Center along with 3,000 innocent lives, 9 out of 10 terrorists are Arabs, there are no real Arab democracies, the Arab world is totally backwards and racist, Arabs tell ridiculous lies about non-Arabs, and distribution of wealth in the Arab world is extremely uneven. And the western world tells ridiculous lies about the Arab world. Everyone uses their media power and backwards mentality to tell its people what they like and spread hatred.
By the way, I wasn’t being sarcastic. You offended me by your stupid email. I may not like some Arab cultural matters that effect me personally because I am an Arab, but don’t go blame an entire civilization for one or two idiot’s actions.
Where is Bin Laden now? USA bombed the hell out of two countries, and was able to remove a president from its power over an entire nation, but where is Bin Laden? It’s like playing Where’s Waldo with a blind Satellite dish. All the money and power of USA, and they can’t find a guy hiding in the mountains? Funny… isn’t it?
I think you need to look beyond your nose for two minutes and think logically. You make your self seem like a closed minded fool.

Then in an instance after I submitted the email, I got an error message back saying that her email “delivery to the following recipient failed permanently.”
She was too chicken shit to deal with the Rebellious Arab Girl. Sorry, I meant, just an Arab Girl who is like everyone else, cannot stand this backwards mentality, and won’t take shit from racist people who only have two brain cells!

Wow! How ignorant is she? I can understand the anger about things like plane hijacking and the World Trade Center. What I can’t understand is how people can blindly lump people together. As if ALL Arabs conspired to do that. Hopefully she will come back here to see your response since you couldn’t reply to her.

Actually, a lot of people believe that one too. I constantly hear people say how Americans are ignorant, fat, greedy and blood thirsty.

Wow, that is soooooo ridiculous! Ok, out of everything that is SO ignorant… I REALLY wish that people would stop saying that there are no democracies in the Arab world. Strictly speaking, there are, but further than that – why is it SO bad if they don’t have democracies? Countries with “democratic systems” all have different ways of implementing them and there are positives and negatives to that government system. Such as: Positive – the people are represented by people held accountable to them through elections; Negatives- because they are held accountable by elections, they have to pander to the people which doesn’t allow for long term policies. Positive – many democracies (not ALL mind you), due to the idea of voting equality, have that idea in other places of the society when it comes to free speech, religion, etc. Negative- Because there is this idea of voting equality and societal equality, many groups feel that their views are not properly reflected in the government which often fosters hate crimes and groups within the society. And the list can go on…

I forgot we were even looking for Waldo. I think that perhaps terrorists did cause 911, but I have actually not seen a single piece of evidence that connects the attacks to Bin Ladin. Interesting how people just believe what they are told. I was trained in science that the absence of evidence should cause us to with hold judgement.
When I began reading this post I had to laugh a little – seeing that I’m an Arab with ‘Arab’ in my site name who also gets Anti-Arab emails loool.

That’s not too surprising, the one advantage that the internet has over real life is that you can ignore people a lot easier on the internet so she chose to insult you and make sure she couldn’t hear a response from you because she too much of a coward to face a good fight. And knowing you, you would’ve given a verbal internet ass-kicking that she can never recover from.
If there were no ignorant masses the rest of us would have no entertainment.

I love that people seem to think they know everything about a culture they are not part of. She is a prime example of why I am a huge supporter in bringing out the truth of Islam & Arab culture. People like this just need to crawl back into their little home, turn off Fox News and start learning how to be intelligent, seriously. (I’m a little behind in your blog, now I feel bad.)
