No one is ever satisfied

Why do I feel that I have to think a 1000 times before I utter a word online? On Twitter, on Facebook, or any social network, people take every single word I say seriously and blame me for it. They criticize my grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. They criticize my mood if it is sad, happy, crazy, etc.

This is what happens when you have too many people following you and reading your thoughts online.

Am I angry? Am I happy? Am I worried about all this? Nah! I just find people really weird and I am normal. You are weird, and I am normal. I am weird, and you are normal. I am so weird, and you are so normal. Are we done now? Happy?

Now, some of you would say, “Mona! Act like your self and be the Rebellious Arab Girl you claim to be!” Ok fine. I will be.

DAMMIT PEOPLE! STOP BUGGING ME ABOUT WHAT I SAY! :D I LOVE YOU ALL (you know I am lying), and without you, this site would have not stayed alive! Should I not appreciate everyone for that?

—–

Moving on to a more serious discussion, here is a political thought, and you guys know me and politics, I avoid it with all my heart. But what the hell?

[link]

UNITED NATIONS — Israeli President Shimon Peres on Wednesday called a U.N. investigation accusing Israel of recklessness during the war in Gaza “outrageous” and said the Jewish state will not apologize for defending its citizens against Hamas missile attacks.

…

“We think it’s outrageous. We shall never accept it. We don’t think that we have to apologize because we have the right to defend the lives of our children and women,” Peres told reporters after meeting U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to convey Israel’s anger about the board of inquiry’s findings.

I lost count on the number of causalities after 5 days into the massacre earlier this year. How many people died in Gaza? What kind of weapons did Hamas have compared to the planes, missiles, crazy unheard of weapons, killer gas, etc, that Israel used?

My take as a small little refugee Palestinian that was forced to live on the other side of the world is, Umm, where shall I begin! Let me make this as simple as possible, and use my blog as an example. Let’s say that I wrote my opinion on this blog, based on something I am completely unsatisfied with, and I had no fear or reason to not do it. I did it for the sake of having to do it. It’s in my blood and I had to express my view point, or else I was going to burst from the inside.

Later, someone got mad at me and had a completely different opinion (like we saw the other day when I talked about religion, God, and natural disorders), and instead of dealing with it in a civilized one to one battle through email or just another blog post from their side, they make an entire new website dedicated to hate my guts and spread horrible rumors to attack me. The damages are not only emotional and hurtful at that moment, but are permanently stored on the interweb forever, and dedicated to diminish my honour, for as long as internet shall live. I classify it as permanent internet damage.

How am I supposed to react after that? Should I disappear, or fight back in my own little way?

That’s the Palestinian way of thinking. Every single one of us, born outside Palestine, born inside, lived as a refugee, or born and raised in Europe or the West, we are all think the same.

Anyone out there disagree with our way of thinking? If you do, then it is fine. No one can convince you to balance power when trying to solve a problem. It seems only ethical, but what the hell do I know? We seem to be living in the dark ages till now and I was not aware of it!

God help us all.

I don’t want to offend you, but I believe if one country such as Palestine continues to send missals into Israel, then Israel should respond with the full force available to them. Do you think that Israel should only respond with an equal amount of force? That is illogical. If a country chooses to attack another country then they should expect that country to respond with the full force available to them in self defense. The same as if Canada attacked the US, The US would respond with the full force available. That’s my opinion. As for your spelling or grammar, I can’t criticize that because mine is just as bad or maybe worse.

So now it’s hamas fault for shooting missile at israeal, i guess people like you never read history for what israeal did to palastine, they took lands not for them, then have the courtsey to lie and say it’s ours. They killed palastenians, took their homes, destryoed mosques and then you say hamas is shooting at Israeal and Israeal has to respond. No honey israeal don’t need to respond , it needs to go out from our lands

I think we exhausted this argument, and some people will never understand our point of view and reasons. It’s ok! That’s just the way our world works.

Israel is an illegal apartheid entity – even deemed so in at least 2 resolutions by the United Nations.
The state of Israel has avoided any and all responsibility for grievous actions committed against Palestinians since its inception in 1948.
It’s almost scary to think that after over 1,300 innocent Palestinians died this year there are people who still find a reason to defend “poor little Israel”.

As we say in Arabic “5aybar 5aybar ya Sahyoon,Jaish Muhammad Sawfa ya3ood”
BIL ROOH BIL DAM NAFDEEK YA PHALASTEEN!

I love you Mona :) Allah Ybarakfeeky for all of your efforts and may He give you patience ;)

Some people don’t understand the situation exactly because they are not familiar with the facts Mona.
Bob is just taking it literally and literally, if some one attacks me I’ll attack them until they stop attacking me.

But I think that in this case it can be more thought of as a bully attacking and taking things that are not theirs from a weaker person, and when the person tries to use self-defense from the attacks. They ultimately get beat down even more just by trying to defend themselves.

Eh. Thats the way I see it.

Israel tried many times to make peace and even offered to move out of occupied territory but Hamas, a terrorists group who represents the Palestinians refused. Hamas believes the Jews should leave Israel because it belongs to the Palestinians. Of course that will never happen and the sooner they accept that, the sooner they will have peace.

So you are saying it was ok for Israel to steal land, act like the tough guy, and kill people for it. If you think Hamas is a Terrorist group, then some other people in the world think that super powers of the world are terrorits that helps more terrorist kill innocent people to show off their power.

Bob, I suggest you end your silly argument. You can never convince us. If you love Israel, and agree with what they are doing, or what they have done, then please don’t ever come to my site again. I am not going to take this BS from you or anyone. Ok? Thank you. And I asked nicely, next time, I won’t be so nice.

When the war started I was just an ignorant about the Israelian/Palestinian affair. But all was so unbalanced that I needed to understand how all started. I read 1 book, 2, 3, 4 books, I browsed, googled the web, I zoomed into Gaza, into Israel. I have been obsessed with all this stuff… what’s wrong with the zionist? how it’s possible that the “paladins” of the Jews have done a ethnic cleaning 3 or 4 years after their holocaust!? The victim have become the executer! They are killing slowly a whole country…

Bob: You see the Israeli attacks as a response to the missiles. You have reflected on why the Palestinian missiles are shot? About the living conditions in Occupied Palestinian Territories? about the more of 10.000 prisoners in Israel? about Nakba? about the violations of the UN resolutions? about the Wall?

MG: No matter who is right and who is wrong, a country can never get what it wants or thinks is rightfully theirs by using terrerism against another country. The only thing the Paletinians will ever get by using terrorism against Israel is more destruction and death. The only hope for the Palestinians is to start giving diplomacy a chance. RebelliousArabGirl: Sorry for coming back but if someone comments on my comment, I feel obligated to respond to it.

Terrorism: (n) (the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear)

“a country can never get what it wants or thinks is rightfully theirs by using terrerism against another country”

I can denial that terrorism has been used by Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and other forces. But I hope you are critic enough to see the terrorism used by Israel Government daily. I don’t need to provide you any prove, the only thing you need do is get informed.

If you want to discuss further the topic you can twitte me (MasterGollum).
