Ah.. so much to say… where to start???

I think I’ve highjacked Mona’s blog enough. I’m going to put together a proper post on my own blog (sorry for the SPP Mona! Didn’t mean to, honest!) so feel free to head over there tomorrow and debate me to your heart’s content.

Mo – that was totally NOT what I got from your question. Now I see you have a valid point. I think there is absolutely a connection btw the two, but I also conceed that there are many Arab women in politics so I guess that you can join the club if you make sure to behave appropriately (and American female politicians are actually in the same boat, so certainly not particular to the Arab world)

@Jazzy Thanks brother for your concern but I am Muslim then everything else I am identified with after that. Alhamdulilah so far, it's been working great for me so if you have found other things that can get you far and wherever you want; I am happy for you. Thanks again but I am old enough to take care of myself. btw, I am not the one who started the convo. to go from Arab to Muslim, but I enjoyed every bit of it. One love

@Craig I can't really say much about this anymore because obviously you don't understand why it's important for Muslims to elect a candidate who share the same values and beliefs with them and I will just be wasting my time to go on and on about it. And yes there are actual good Muslim leaders but whom I consider a good Muslim leader might not be a good leader in your eyes so I am not going to get into that either. However, I honestly appreciate that you don't see Muslims as this one picture and that we have great people who can honestly change the way people see Islam and then there are these other morons who are not so true Muslims that only continue to ruin the image of Islam. Either way, if both of us live long enough, we will def. see more great leaders coming from the Muslim nation God willing. Who knows Mona could be one of them? Go Mona! Run for a change
