But hey, we live in modern times, and we need to get the message out and appeal to more people. Words are the most powerful weapon. I hope more people in the world become aware of what was the result of the massacre earlier this year, and the cause of the problem.
Gaza rappers influenced by war
The people of Gaza have faced a war, and been besieged by a blockade imposed by Israel in retaliation for rocket fire. So in an effort to express their grief and resilience, a group of rappers from the Gaza Strip are getting the word out, the only way they know how.
Al Jazeera’s Casey Kauffman met the rappers in Gaza.

I keep watching this video over and over. I love it that people use forms of media to express them selves other than violence and trash talk. Better way to get the message out there you know.
and i love that no one commented lol.. you must love that too :p
@Dee
Hahaa.. yah. It is proof that people are not interested in my site for any political reason. I try to satisfy everyone.
well they should, not only for the politics, this is politics and art
…maybe you should try something a bit more mainstream, maybe some people will relate or comment or anything lol..’DAM’ are a bit more known even with non arabs…you can find a lot more about this in a documentary called ’slingshot hiphop’….if you ever find it anywhere send me a copy :p
I saw this on AL Jazeera, loved it. I was moved by his story & how it has influenced his music.
I still love this video, and the guy in the video rapping is the man! Love Palestine!

@jazzy
He pretty much explained what he was saying in his raps. He is saying that he wants peace and will be patient about it. But how can he have peace with Israel?
