@mona: You got it! I didn't bother myself because as you know Arabs love to keep secret

@moonstar Sliverwolf: "el-Bahr" in Arabic = "The Sea" in English whereas Ocean in Arabic means "el-Moheet".

@brain: I don't know the truth behind it though it seems -and this what I think only- that when someone say 'drink from the ocean' or 'drin from the sea' that you'll always feel thristy because of the salty water. It's a metafor because the context you say this word within simply means you don't care about what the other say so you tell them 'drink from the ocean/sea'

Just my thoughts!

@ hicham
I heard from a syrian that to drink the whole ocean actually has a scientific fact behind it, for if one is to become mad then by drinking the 'ocean' you become calmer because the water settles the stomache and thus settles the body...just something interesting i heard.

I like explaining my self everyone. If I do it once on my blog, I don't have to do it again by other means to individuals. Publicly things get understood quicker. Maybe.

With al shams setting in the background and the crescent riding high it is like the moon is following the sun. When the sun sets all of the rays of light coalesce into one big red or orange circle. I remember when I was young I told my mom that the moon is following me. This has got to be the relationship between any mother and her wonderful children. With their thoughts like prayers they follow us like a butterfly unto a flower. And when the children return it is like the rising sun how the rays of light spread is akin to the overflowing of love when u finally see them again. Miss someone for too long and you will never take for granted their enduring company.

You have no reason to explain yourself to people--I've read a couple of your blog entries and you seem like a genuinely nice (and better yet, down to earth) person. Everyone needs to blow off steam once in a while--Lord knows I have a thousand complaints about my mom as well, but that in no way means I love her any less than the next person. This is your blog and you're fully entitled to state your opinions about anything and everything--people will talk about you regardless of what you write about!

I said, if they don't like it, let them go put tiles in the ocean.
He said, if they don't like it, let them go drink the entire ocean.
