From Kelowna with love
Too bad children get in my way of enjoying a kick ass vacation, but what can I do? I have a monster of a niece and a grouchy sister. However, I tried my best to enjoy my time and ignore my sister and screams of my niece. Just give them food or candy, that will shut them up. I am serious when I say I don’t want kids now. I don’t have the patience. If I ever do, I will hire a nanny or find someone else, like my mom, to worry about their diapers and teaching them to behave.

My brother is hilarious when he starts swearing at that little angel devil of a daughter that he has. The girl is hyper and full of incredible energy. She is tall and skinny for her age, and very flexible. If she breaks one thing during the day, then that is fine. My old laptop that died yesterday, she had fun with it since the day I came here by continually removing the tab key. I think I should blame her for the death of that laptop. Anyways, the tab key was easy access for her to steal. What’s worse, that she came close to my new laptop that I bought yesterday, and she almost took out the back space button. My brother screamed because it tilted out. I told him to not worry, and I re-adjusted it. Children. Blah!

Anyways, a couple of days ago, Saturday July 4, we went on a steam engine choo choo train ride inside the mountains. I was so excited because I have never rode a train before in my life, and my first train ride was in something so historic! I loved it! The scenery was amazing, and I kept snapping pictures like crazy.

I would so do it all over again. I loved the ride and the amazing scenery! I love it! I wish all of you were here as well to see it. I love this part of Canada. I am so thinking of moving here! It’s breath taking!
Blah Blah, Random Thoughts, Ranting as usual!, They said what?, Travel, Whatever!

Looks cool. I’ve done Amtrak in US several times. Via Rail to Toronto was cool, too. They say the trip west across Canada is great in one of those trains with the glass tops. A good excuse for you to go back to BC. Go solo!
Wow… I’ve ridden trains a lot, but never one like that! I doubt we even have those old style trains anywhere in the US anymore! The closest I’ve seen is the train at Disneyland in Anaheim, but that’s obviously just a replica
The only train rides that I have ever taken were the ones that took me to school through center city Philadelphia. Only good views that I ever saw was when we went through a dark tunnel.
Glad to see that you’re having a good time. Don’t worry about those little kids. They will grow up and have little kids pestering them as well and they will see what it was like for us to deal with them.
@Craig
then you should come up here and ride and experience the real old thing!
@Ali H.
Because I was so so bad bad when I was little, I don’t want to deal with mini-me!
You know, I remember when you first got there you thought she was cute & adorable, guess her true nature has shown herself. Sounds like you would be a great Aunt, the one everyone loves because she gives them cookies & sweets. Just don’t give them coffee…
Love the pictures, very beautiful.
Fantastic !!!
