Unexpected financial setbacks
I am going to cancel the July contest for this month. Why?
1. Not many people are participating or interested, so I cannot judge for a winner.
2. I had a bit of an unexpected financial setback today. The laptop that I got for free from my old job has decided to have a meltdown today. It no longer turns on. It has been dying for months, and it kept giving me blue screens of death and over heating like crazy. Being here in Kelowna, BC made it worse, and the plastic around the fan melted.
3. I cannot live without a laptop, and I had to buy one ASAP. I bought an MSI Netbook from Walmart. They had a sale, and I needed the cheapest one in this city. I went to every website, and it was the only thing I found that was cute and only weighed around 3 pounds. I got the red and white one because I am oh so Canadian! It feels like a toy I swear. I cannot wait till the internet pays me for last month’s blog advertisements! I need money!

Oh I hope things pick up for you soon. I can’t imagine the desperation of being stuck with family and…no internet. Tough times, we’re all glad you treated yourself
