Dear God

Google Buzz

Dear God,

I know you are reading my blog and thoughts. All I want from life is to be happy, get a job, and enjoy the simplicity of life. I don’t want anything else. I want a quiet life, enjoy nature, and have good friends around me.

Amen.

Is that too hard to ask?

What happened to your blog?! I liked the old layout; personally, I find this one distracting.

I don’t think it is asking too much. I think you have the focus and the will to make it happen, just have to have the patience to see it through. I am sure it will take some time, which is always the worst part.

You are divine. Listen to your inner self. All religions are regional lies, but some imaginary friends are crueler fiends than others.

I wonder where God is right now.. and if he really does hear all prayers and even if he does, can he do anything about them, or is the world that he has set up been set up in a way that has a beginning and end and no way to meddle with the middle.

I’ve always been curious about that.

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
if you ever watched the movie bruce allmighty you’ll know where im comming from, you made Allah seem like somebody who sits behind a computer screen and finds everything out from e-mails. and when Allah is bored he reads blogs.

aw inshallah your dua comes true. Although i think blogging a dua is a bit unorthodox and the last part seemed a tad bit very rude, but hey be yourself.

Hmm.. ok.. Why can’t you just say, “inshallah allah will grant your wishes.” instead of giving me a speech on religion? As I recall, Allah said, “id3ooli wa astajeb lakom.” That’s what 3ibado does every day, they turn to him.

No reason to mock me people or find it funny or think less of others that do. It’s human nature, you turn to God. He created us and does whatever he pleases with us.

Now can we stop this. I find it hilarious that some of you are taking this way out of proportion and want to make a huge deal and start debates and speeches.

If you are annoyed about comments, then don’t write posts…this is the whole idea of blogging, if you haven’t noticed yet in 4 years. And stop mocking others also! You want religion to always suit your needs, but on the contrary, you should suit islam, not make it appropriate for yourself…Easy to just keep those things in a religion that are easy for you. The hard things count more.

But I do agree people pray to God to have a better life every day, even if it is not a real prayer, it is just a social habit.

what the Hell is wrong with all you Believers?! This was a simple casual post! You are meant to read it, smile to yourself, and then think about your own prayers and desires!

why does every conversation about religion get hijacked by the OVERLY devout. God is not meant to be stressful!!

If you don’t like my posts and me actually commenting back and telling people my opinion, then don’t come back to my site. This is my blog, no one else. So I can do whatever I want. I am the one that paid for it, maintain it, and keep it up. Why does it bother you what posts that I write, and what I say back to people? I don’t see you with a blog doing the same thing?

    @Ahmed Masri
Don’t bother with people. Have you noticed that most of the people that have negative mocking opinions are Arabs?

    yeah, I’ve certianly noticed!

Here in Bahrain, where there is a melting pot of races, you can truly see how closed-minded some of us are. That is the old generation mostly though, thankfully. They are on their way out.

I don’t let it get to me how bigoted today’s Arabs really are.. I just tell myself I am a new Arab. :P
