Music & Animation Video: Palestine Will be Free
I came across this video while checking out my peepz Facebook profiles, and they shared this amazing new song for Palestine in English. Visit (www.maherzain.com) for more information about this singer.
Awakening Records is pleased to announce the release of the world’s first animated peace music video on Palestine. Palestine will be Free’ is performed by Awakening’s latest music sensation – Maher Zain.This is the first time an animated peace music video has been produced on Palestine: “We are recognised as pioneers and constantly pushing the bounds of creativity and innovation. This animated music video for our new star artist Maher Zain is just another step in that direction and certainly not the last”, said Bara Kherigi, Director of Awakening Records. Destined to be an international success, the video features the story of a young brave Palestinian girl who never loses hope for a better future despite the harsh realities surrounding her.

I was going to say it seemed a little too militaristic to be a “peace” video, but the ending changed my mind. Nice video. Thanks for posting it, Mona
@Craig
PEACE! :up:
This is beautiful. There has never been a movement I have felt more strongly about than the movement within my heart that says Palestine must be free.
Beautiful video, Mona. Thanks for sharing…
@Moonstar Silverwolf
@Doug (palestinelibre)
no problem!
Hope they will free..
Like all propaganda efforts, simplistic, banal and misleading.
You get the same kind of stuff when Israel tries to justify its actions – pulling at the heart-strings as if violence towards civilians was only one way. Religion is the root of all this – and extremist Jewish settlers are as bad as Islamic militants. One thing’s for sure though – if either of these factions win (or both have authority in their respective areas )- you won’t have any rebellious women, Arab or Jewish, because religious extremists of all “faiths” want to put women back in the stone age. Freedom for Gaza won’t mean freedom for Gazan women, in the same way as Israeli women’s rights are increasingly under attack.
So be careful what you wish for.
@caledonian Jim
At least its an improvement over the ‘death to all jews’ videos you see around. Tragic point however is, that none of the arab countries are really free. The isreali-arab confict is in my eyes like the oceania-eurasia conflict in 1984; it goes on and on because too many people have interests in it. Religion is part of the conflict, but dont forget more down to earth causes like power and money. The ones paying the bills are the palestinians. poor sods.
PS. mona you should really read 1984, if you haven’t read it.
@maarten
I read it.
Remember I am Palestinian, so whatever the two sided view is, I am sticking to who I am.
