This job seems full time
I have some addictions that I like to confess to in my life, coffee and checking emails. I demand to get paid for checking emails all day! Did I also mention that if I don’t check my email at least 20 times a day, I will end up reading a book by tomorrow?
I hope the email job fairies that pay in 2009 currency value can hook me up. I can read emails all day and reply to people. I can say what’s on my mind and have a nice conversation. I can also sell weird convincing thoughts. It’s part of being a girl and a successful e-mail marketer. Do I even know what e-mail marketer is? I didn’t think so.
This is a look of my social networking day of work and coffee.
Note: you can add me to Facebook and Twitter. I communicate back. Email me. I email back. I am not one of those stuck up people with a popular blog and does not communicate with anyone. However, just give me some time to reply back. I maybe slow sometimes. Mentally and typing wise that is.
Just had a lovely fight on this humble blog and it escalated to Twitter.

This is my daily morning!

Emails emails!

Today, marks the end of 12 months of not having a job. Oh September! What will you bring thou?
All day long, I kept thinking, what have I done to my self? Although I will never regret any decision I ever made regarding work, but today, out of all the 365 passed days, I felt like I wanted to wake up in the morning and go to work. Oh well… I can wait, and keep on waiting. Until then, I will keep this full time job of blogging, checking emails, answering people, listening to their problems, giving courteous well though of advice, and enjoy being an active social networker and helping people out.
PS. I have great and amazing readers that try to help out with my dilemma of unemployment.

Blah Blah, Funny, Random Thoughts, Ranting as usual!, They said what?, Whatever!

Well you are right in one thing, No regrets. Don’t look back it is water under the bridge. Follow your dream, whatever it is, for there lies the adventure. Have a blast and enjoy life,
@Oussama
I like the sound of adventure… and thanks for adding me to Facebook!
I think one of the reasons your blog is popular is because you do respond to people, I know I appreciate it
I hope you had a great day today.
@Moonstar Silverwolf
It’s always nice to have small talk with the world. Keeps the brain active, and a smile on my face that I can talk to other human beings!
Thank you!
Plus she tells it like it is and am sure breaks stereotypes across the board when it comes to Arab women. Thumbs up.
@Janet
Breaking the stereotypes is my mission. I am so sick of all the traditions that make no sense, and cultural customs that have no basis and no logic. Arab women should never subject themselves to that, and people should stop having one image of what an Arab woman should be or is. We are not all like that.
Mona, you DO deserve to get paid…Not only do you write blogs, but your pretty much like a person therapist..It might sound funny to some but I’m serious…Whenever I had some issues, I turned to Mona. I sent Mona emails and within 10-15 I would get a reply and it would be back and forth…Not only did she reply, but she gave me awesome advise for serious situations…So you’d be considered a therapist, enterainer, and writer in my book
:up:
@Mary Barahmeh
I like helping people. And entertaining too!
You still hate chocolate? Me, my loyal readers, and I will convince you otherwise. You chocolate hater you! BLASPHEMY!!
If nobody has said it yet, we do appreciate all the work you put into your blog. Thanks for all the work you put into this blog to keep us both well-informed and entertianed. You should be getting paid a lot to do what you do.
Hi Mona your article is so nice that make all persons always to visit your blog include me, you make me happy and I cannt draw many word due to your blog exist
@Desert Shark
Awww thank you!!
@pgdonesia
Hmm.. Thank you!
Ah, you can sit and do what you want all day. I want those days to last regardless of how monotonous they are.
Try working for the government, they might hire you to check other people’s emails to make sure they aren’t doing anything wrong.
Also have you tried coffee with mint(Leaf, Syrup, or Pills)? I don’t like coffee but with mint I get a nice refreshing kick to the head! 8D
You could earn money from checking email indirectly by writing a book about checking email. If you have an exotic surname its sure to sell good in places like New York. All you need is a catcy title like ‘Arab email addicts anonymous’ or ‘Email, coffee and rebellion’
lol @ maarten. And I agree with everyone here. I discovered your blog a couple of weeks ago, and have been religiously addicted. I don’t post often, but really do appreciate your articles and comments. It’s encouraging to know I’m not the only Arab girl who feels the same way you do about a lot of issues you talk about here. Thanks again =)
hey u waynek?
@lisa
Does it matter where I am? Where have you been?
