Well, today I was told more rules of my work place. I got to dress appropriately, I got to do my work on time, work on weekends if I had to, blah blah, and worse yet, I AM ON PROBATION! I feel like I am a bad person and I did something awful! Someone is giving me a time out for 90 days!
Even though I had a job before for over six years, I was never given a probation period. What’s up with this probation? Maybe because I used to be a contract worker for so many years, and I always had to sign a piece of paper selling my mind and soul from X to Y time frame. I don’t think there is a probation time with contract workers, but just a daily watchful eye or you are fired!
I was threatened to be fired several times at my old job for my attitude of speaking out about the unfairness. I was kept there because I did kick ass work! I think.. Good thing I quit before they got sick of me. I cracked before them last year! Hehehe.. 
OH MY GOD! You know what? The contract I signed when I got this new job said a beginning date and NO END DATE! I was like.. OH MY DEAR LORD! YOU WANT ME TO STAY HERE FOR ETERNITY? ALL RIGHT! FREE DAILY COFFEE AND PROGRAMMING WEBSITE APPLICATIONS! YAY! I love my job!! Give me a forever probation or whatever politically correct term you want to use. I can program websites forever!
Now this is the good life.
