You know, if only the parents could read this. They would:
A) Find out who you are and who your family is and trash talk you guys, for many years to come even your great great great great grandchildren will be hated!
B)Defend their asss’s even though they are wrong and secretly agree with everything your saying, but their ego is too damn precious to be taken down.
C) I can’t think of anything more.

I agree with everything you are saying, but hey you didnt mention what caused you to write this rant about arabs.

yeah, where I come from if your from a different tribe than somebody else, you’re stereotyped. It sucks like I listen to the parents talk to each other on the phone and gossip. They will say that person is a liar because they came from this tribe etc. It’s pathetic and annoying.

I would have preferred if the "criticism" were kept at the level of each team's technical deficiencies; sadly, the ridiculousness of the whole thing shifted into questioning origin, religion, language and degrees of being an Arab (A sudden source of Pride and Joy, huh?) Mona, once again, you're 100% right. No matter how many things in common Arabs have, many more things seem to interfere in separating them. And we dare call one another brothers and sisters ... pffft

@Incandescent Chimera I did that a while ago. Maybe 2 years ago because people kept thinking I was Jordanian, and I have no relation to that country. I never been there or have any family there. However, some people are too closed minded and think because you say you are Palestinian that you are Jordanian. It's like all the Palestinians in the world went there or something.

Hi Mona, I think you need to do a post about Arabs who show shame in their identity. I’m talking about Palestinians who tell the whole world they’re Jordanians only because they are ashamed of who they are. What do you think? I think its more shameful to say you’re something you’re not.
