Define your self

By: Mona
.......................

When you are bored, you come up with the following pointless blog post that you should NOT click publish on. However, I do that about 50% of the time, but who’s counting?

If I had a choice in world matters concerning Oxford Dictionary entries, I think my blog title should be considered as one in the following manner,

Rebellious Arab Girl
reâ‹…belâ‹…lious Arâ‹…ab girl
/rɪˈbɛlyəs/ /ˈærəb/ /gɜrl/

–noun
1. a female defying or resisting some established authority, government, or tradition; insubordinate; inclined to rebel; who happens to be a member of a Semitic people inhabiting Arabia and other countries of the Middle East.

You can tell I am bored. Maybe I should go bake some cookies, or sleep. That pot of coffee didn’t do shit today! I think it is just winter; short days, cold nights, and a reason to whine more, or waste time reading through the dictionary.

Yes, I am a seeker of knowledge (geek). I read useless articles and entries on Wikipedia, the Dictionary, and Encyclopedia Britannica to kill time. That’s one of my hobbies. Sad isn’t it?

Any lamos out there like me with shameful hobbies? Speak up. Don’t be shy. No one will know. :D

i like changing the world with my thoughts. oh like last night i changed hitler from being an ass to be a shoemaker in Deutschland named Adolf Schweitzer, and apparently he likes his job and even has a girlfriend. Sometimes he eats salads but mostly sandwiches.
I gave everyone free healthcare. I keep handing out money like I’m the bread maker to everyone and anyone. Nukes don’t exist anymore, and the war on terror is actually a war to see who can feed the world faster than anybody else. All those big ugly planes, and cruise missiles are actually carrying food donations that drop onto unsuspecting victims, totally destroying that hole in their stomachs. Yah Africa is no longer crappy and weapons don’t exist….period….only to hunt. Education is free, oh and so is food. Slavery never took place, and our precious prophet never had to kill anybody because God was so almighty and powerful that he just made that puny lil guy bow before his enemies with a flaming sword named Xavier and they stopped hating and hugged each other. Who cares if they worshipped rocks, its all made of the self same stuff. Oh and all the documentaries that you see are just mock-umentaries….Hollywood cracks me up dude, those guys are geniuses.
I like to look at history books and go “Hi Story!”
Mind over matter, spirit over mind, faith in the wind, can truly change all of time. I rule :pirate:

Exactly!! It’s an opportunity for “others” that don’t usually comment on my blog to engage in an conversation that may end up being a lot more interesting.

I’ve developed a taste for Studio Ghibli productions, although whether you would call them cartoons is enough thing.

I have seen and own most of Studio Ghibli movies and tv series. :) I like to watch them in their original Japanese with English subtitles. My favorites are: Nausicca Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke.

I’d have to go for Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle (I’ve now read many of Diana Wynne Jones’s books), and The Cat Returns (very funny).

I took away all menstruation so women don’t have to go through that craziness anymore. I’ve trapped everyone in time, so actually no one has died, In the Quran it says death is a lie anyways, so I’m just going to run with that and say that they are actually not even in the after life yet, but are waiting to die. Age is an illusion. Time doubly so.

    @Mona

You like all the same ones I do!! I LOVE Mononoke Hime. One day I’m going to fall asleep with the rest of the world, and awake under the world tree with the princess in my arms. All the stories have strong female leads, and despite some things changing for the worse, their characters grow and develop. Love em.

I do the same thing, I like to just read information on some random stuff or anything that comes up in the course of the day. you learn a lot of interesting stuff this way this way, sometimes it can be brought up later in conversation, it also helps to keep your mind sharp because constantly trying to learn about a variety of subjects improves your memory. The other day I was reading online information about asiatic lions. don’t know how i got started on that subject, but it was fun to learn about them. Anyway, you’re not just wasting your time when you read this stuff, you’re keeping yourself well-informed.

I’m not trying to be knit-picky or anything, or trying to start a useless arguement. But what did you mean by in the Quran it says death is a lie?

The Prophet (saws) in the Quran says something along the lines of those who say that there is death are telling naught but lies, and that they are not really dead.
Pardon me for getting controversial but I just wanted to add my own creativity to the word.

Hm, never heard of that hadith before. I don’t know Islam usually goes with logic, logically when Allah gives life there is usually life. When Allah takes life there is death. Besides, if there wasn’t death we would be everlasting, the only everlasting one is Allah. The only ever lasting creations are Jannah, and Hellfire. The Quran also says we will all taste death/go through death. We should all know the sayings of the prophet and the quran never contradict so the prophet cant be wrong, and the quran definatly cannot be wrong.

These are just bits of information
