I feel young enough that I cannot remember half this crap, but old enough to have enjoyed Rainbow Brite, Smurfs, and cutting Barbie’s ugly fake blonde hair off.
Yah… all my barbies were bald. They were punk stylin’!

What do you remember from the 80′s? Do you even remember that decade?? Are you my visitor a little older than what I think? Please!!
Great song! You got to check it out! I was singing it in the car and the people next to me were staring with confusion how a nice looking innocent girl in work clothes is singing like a maniac!

haha I like that song even though I wasn’t born in the 80′s! It’s funny! xD
Thanks for sharing!
Lol. Weren’t you born in the 1980s? I was born in the 1960s! Not that recall anything from the 1960s. I remember the 1970s pretty well, though. I was a sophomore in high school in 1980.
@Craig
That’s why I like the video, they kept emphasizing that year!
I am born 1980..
nah, lol 1990′s person.
Ha! Not only do I remember the 80s, I was part of the media that helped shape it musically. In the latter part of the decade I was a rock journalist and magazine editor specializing in hard rock and heavy metal, writing about bands like Guns N’ Roses, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Motley Crue. OK, so maybe I shouldn’t be so proud of that… but it WAS a lot of fun!

I was born in 1976 and so I grew up on the 80s. And know what, I cut my Barbie’s hair too.
I had my first barbie when I was 5. I painted her hair brown, I cut it slightly, I went out to the shop and I got her 7 pairs of shoes, all pointy stilletoes. Afterwards I got so disollusioned with all that barbie represented that I tore of her arms and legs, painted her midsection army colors and wrote stories instead. Writing stories definitely entertained my imagination more.
@Janiss
wicked cool!! kick ass job you had there!
@jeng
See.. everyone does it!! Mom thought I was a freak of nature who hated hair on dolls! lol
@mais
I painted one of my Barbie’s hair green with my coloring pens. It was an alien Barbie!!
I was a teen in the 80′s. I hated the hairstyles and clothing. My kid was born in 1988. Some of the music was great. Joined the Army in 1986. Was stationed in S. Korea. Many things happened. I remember the shows back then and how “innocent” that decade seems when you compare it all to today..ok…enough negativity. I had barbies also. Had the barbie airplane, barbie van, barbie townhouse. They lived in style and I used to create different types of fashions for them, but they all kept their hair.
happy wednesday!

To reassure you, the minute you start to feel old, we’ll have you cryogenically frozen
@Meyrick Kirby
Are they the ones who sang Barbie Girl in the 90′s? Seriously, I thought they were new back then. Anyway, the song is good but hey am not that old. I just appreciate the song. LOL.http://blog.onlineposterprinting.com
