How to spend money efficiently
I got a call the other day from my bank’s credit department. Obviously, I do not have any bad credit at all. I pay my bills on time, and I limit my plastics. They called bluntly saying that I have too much money, I need more, and I was pre-approved to take a large sum of money from them by credit.

The lady on the phone explained to me my loans. The one loan to be exact, the student one that I do not have much left to pay for. I said, “I have money in the bank, not that much loan left to pay off, so why do I need the credit?”
She hesitated and said, “Well, it is true. You do have money in the bank, but you need more.”
I said, “Ok? For what?”
She said, “If you need to make a large purchase or down payment.”
I said, “I have enough for a down payment for maybe a house if I wanted to, so??”
She said, “I guess you don’t need it now, I can call back in the end of the month when you think about it some more.”
I guess that’s why we have caller id’s on our cell phones and home phones people.
PS. If she was giving me the money for free, or there was a HUGE BUG in the system and they mistakenly did not add up something right in my account, then I would be all like, “Dude, I need a vacation, hook me up!!”

Another number keeps calling me saying that I won a free trip to Florida!!
Wouldnt that be a nice surprise! =)
