How to decide

By: Mona
.......................

I am not sure where to begin, so I decided to throw around a few points to start off the new year with a post. There are many things we experience in life that make us grow a little more where we decide for our selves what is right or wrong. But what if my right is your wrong, or vice versa. Then what is it that we can define as right?

I am not talking about what we were taught right or wrong religiously. I don’t defy my religion in any way because I believe religion keeps our minds clear and focused on what is supposed to be right. But what if there are things that have no answer in religion from what we were taught and lived by all our lives?

So, forget religion a moment and let’s think deeper within ourselves. To decide if some things are right or wrong are based on how we feel about the situation and the consequence of it. Sometimes we have to make a hard choice to come up with a decision that is defined in our heads as right. But is it 100% right? What is right then? Who decides? Shouldn’t we as individuals decide that for our selves? Maybe our logic and choice of right is not the most acceptable, but do we just stop and just go with what others say?

No, I don’t think so. I believe that we choose what is right or wrong because if we really believe in it, then we have to go by that decision. It is called following your heart. Try it sometimes. Make a decision and only your heart is allowed to decide of its worth. I think that is how new creative ideas come true. Cause no one else believe we can do it but us.

Therefore, begin the year making the right choice by just following your heart.

I love this idea of “following your heart.” I thought I was just doing whatever I wanted, but to think that I’m being genuine to myself makes me feel even better. Thank-you.

    I agree with Amira Jamila,
The day before dec 31-2010 was the same the day 1-1-2011 and before that.
Mentality of people may change this year to next year, but days and nights are same since the existence of the planet earth.
Instead of wasting trillions of dollars on fire works, liquor and celebration, they can use the same amount depositing in bank to uplift of poor and help survivors of earthquake, calamity etc… In the long, they can also build thousands of schools to bring prosperity and equality among people of the world….

Hi, I happened to run into your blog while looking for information for my youth group. I can’t help sometimes to make my own comments when I see others in frustration. It sounds like you are young, so please don’t be discouraged that life has not presented itself in the manner you would like at this point. Be pateint and beleive that the right people will come into your life at the right time. My point of view in meeting a partner or future spouse should be live not on the internet. I am old fashion and prefer real interaction. First meeting should be “in person” to get the real “first impression”. You can see the body laguage, facial espressions, and their spiritual presence. Keep looking, but remember that special man may come at a time you’re not looking.

    Peace

I agree with Meyrick Kirby we should be using both but remember that mind can be influence easier and mind is the one who loves games which will make your decision even harder
