I have been getting many emails lately of people asking me to change the template or make my blog template a little lighter. Especially the reading part. I am sorry, but I cannot do that. I got many reasons, but if you are having hard time viewing my site, then you are not using Firefox or Internet Explorer 7. So why the darkness?

It’s not that I am a gloomy person and want to represent my self with darkness. On the contrary, I only prefer dark colours because I have very sensitive eyes. I am supposed to wear my glasses, but I think I have a pair at work which I don’t wear unless my eyes are having a fuzzy blind day, and at home, I have no idea where my other pair is. My glasses could be anywhere on my cluttered desk.

Last night, I changed the text to white so it will completely contrast the dark background instead of the off white/grey colour I had before.

I am sorry for those people whose pupils have dilated interchangeably while blog hopping to my site, it is just I like it this way. I like my eyes not hurting.

Also, for those people who think that my site is too graphical. People, hello, I AM A GRAPHICS person! This is normal for graphics people’s site. This is the way we represent our selves. If you think it is taking too long to load, well, then you are not on high speed internet! I am thinking in the future to have a text based site or a very low graphical representation of my site for those on dialup. I apologize, I didn’t know my fan base was that diverse, and I cannot satisfy everyone.

Also, my site can be seen with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768. If you don’t know what I am talking about, then hmm, then.. aaah.. don’t ask.. look it up.

In my ideal graphical blog world:

1. I like all websites to be mostly dark, and text area to be readable enough for me. White text, or white text box with black text.
2. Bloggers and other site owners in general should spend time developing their site and have some creativity. You dress your self in the morning with matching colours, so why can’t you make a site with MATCHING colours! Dark navy does not match with phosphoric green! It’s not cool! It’s fucking hideous and looks like vomit. It makes me cringe!
3. If you want to represent your self in the internet world, do your self a favor and do it right! People don’t only judge your site content, but also the way you graphically represent your site.
4. Don’t put too much text on your site! People get confused and don’t like to read everything! Make sure you have a sidebar of other things you want people to see. Also, I suggest that you have a [read more] on your articles. If you are using wordpress, there is a plugin for it. Give people the choice to read the entire article or not. Don’t put it all in their face.

I got more tips and other site suggestions, but I am lazy and hungry now. I want to eat lunch.

Blah Blah, Funny, Random Thoughts, They said what?

I decided to start another hobby of taking random pictures of anything. However, this afternoon as I left work I got so excited about something, I will talk about it later, and I decided to go shopping as well. When I am happy, I buy stuff! Hopefully, when I am going to be really happy if my plan A succeeds, since my plan B is slowly being implemented, however plan A is the ultimate plan that will end all plans, then I will treat everyone with something good! I even took pics of the future treatment! lol

Yep, you guessed it. It is candy, fun, and gifts. I am so dorky and high at the moment, it isn’t even funny how crazy I am. I always wondered if I was to ever be a drunk, how would I really act? So I lost the few depression brain cells that were clouding over the other fun me brain cells, and I am super excited and energetic. I also just came from the gym and showered and ate dinner, and I since I used up all my energy, I am feeling sleepy! Zzz..

This is me at work. I have an Acer laptop and a flat screen. What am I doing? I was reading instructions on how to use a camera I bought two months ago. This is proof that I haven’t been doing shit at work. I am currently on vacation. I am making up 5 years of barely taking any type of vacation, and spending it at work doing nothing. I know, I could be gone somewhere nice and hot, but not in the mood. Now you can really see that I haven’t been doing anything productive. I feel bad, guilty, but I can’t convince my self or have any motivation to do anything anymore.

Santa is coming. He is setting up his station at the mall. All those boxes, are they filled with CANDY?

Nop, candy store is there, that’s where he stocks up!

 

I don’t like wearing socks at  home, and since we have wood floors and barely any carpet pieces, I decided to buy this fluffy pajama boot that keeps my feet extra warm.

Funny, My taste of Music

I wanted today to be slow.. I have been awake since 6 am and the day kept dragging on. I am avoiding doing real work, but I got most of it done, I am just slacking and waiting. No big deal. So I spent the day in my room pretty much because I am just cold. Our house gets really hot or really cold real quick. I feel like a cup of hot tea! That’s all I have been drinking all weekend. It’s a good therapy tool and filled with a different type of caffeine.

My mom today decided to make kick ass Falafel from scratch.. so good. I ate two sandwiches cause it was so yummy! I love it when mom actually decides to cook once in a while. Other than that, I just spent the day doing some research work, browsing the net, discovering more social networking tools and being cold. I am so cold.

I took random pics of my room of the things I keep staring at all day and won’t move! MOVE you IT objects! I seriously need to clean my room and get rid of the toys.

My Harry Potter collection. The first book is not there cause my brother started reading it. It will take him a few years before he finishes them. I read all those in 2 months!

I keep preaching cleanness and organization, and in my room that idea is non-existent!

I am going to start taking my new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 with me everywhere and take pics of all the odd things I see every day!
