What I heard on the radio: Lady called in saying, “Hello! The worst thing that ever happened to me was get married!” Radio MC said, “Wow.. ok! Haha.” Lady replied saying, “And the best thing that ever happened to me was a divorce!”

I laughed hysterically and my head jolted forward towards the steering wheel, and I almost died laughing while driving around 60km/h. My window was fully open! I then moved my head back up and I continued laughing all the way home. Best thing I heard in a long time!

In reality, it is not meant to be funny, but the way the lady said it and her excited voice in the beginning and then a sigh of relief in the end just made my day. I wish I could meet her and tell her, “So, how old are you? Younger than me eh?! Sucks to be you!”

Thank God I am not her age and divorced. That’s why my humble little internet friends, avoid marriage at all costs!

I feel young enough that I cannot remember half this crap, but old enough to have enjoyed Rainbow Brite, Smurfs, and cutting Barbie’s ugly fake blonde hair off.

Yah… all my barbies were bald. They were punk stylin’!

What do you remember from the 80′s? Do you even remember that decade?? Are you my visitor a little older than what I think? Please!!

Funny, Happy, My taste of Music

I was thinking the past couple of days of various issues. Then I started asking people what they thought of one question, but the answers were either a lie, a hesitant reply, or a concerned look of bewilderment on their faces.

So why don’t people appreciate everything that has happened to them in their lives so far?

In my case, I appreciate it a lot because I learned from it and it shaped my personality, and I don’t regret anything. I questioned a lot of events and their outcomes in my life, but I just learned to forget it and move on. I cannot dwell over the past. I haven’t been dreaming or feeling that anything in my past is haunting me anymore. I sleep well now, because I learned to appreciate and move on.

It’s hard for some of you to believe that since I write crazy posts that make no sense and makes you wonder, “what the hell is Mona thinking?” I know, I don’t even know what I am thinking. I am one of those bloggers that writes and never re-reads. Most of my posts I don’t read again because to me they are the past that is there, but that’s it. It is there. It is history, a memory that should not be erased and only remembered vaguely as something that happened a long time ago.

Sometimes I wish that I had a blog when I was younger. I want people to read the transition of my personality and how I didn’t seem that I will ever grow up. The most common critique on my blog is, “Mona grow up!” I am grown up, but I don’t to see the world the way others do.

Believe me, it is nice to sleep at night and not wake up at 3 am frightened to death of an event in your life that is haunting you. It’s a good feeling to wake up happy. I never experienced it before, and that’s why I haven’t been blogging for a while or not as much. I don’t wake up un-appreciating life anymore.

Blah Blah, Happy, Random Thoughts, They said what?, Whatever!

I don’t know if I feel better or just slightly better this week. I know I do feel excited and a bit adventurous. A new cute car, and my job is stable and more structured now. There aren’t many people bothering me that much at work anymore.

As days pass, I wonder what I can do to improve my mental well being. I think I suffered so much in the past, that anything new is beyond exciting. I just need to teach my self to let go and move on with my life. I want the past to just erase it self from my memory, and let my mind accept the new. That has always been my biggest problem in my life, accepting change. Therefore, I just taught my self and forced my self to not wait. Just accept the way things are and try anything new. No need to hide behind an invisible barrier all my life.

I always wondered how I ended up like this. Maybe because things around me changed so much, that I didn’t know how to deal with it. I just kept putting that barrier and staying away. I didn’t want to accept it and just let it be. That’s my problem. That has always been my problem all my life. Now, as I am slowly maturing (yes.. sad but true.. 29 and my mind finally matured), I am finally realizing that life is not worth the headache.

Side Note

Every time my sister sees me on the computer, and I talk to her about anything that pertains to her personality, she tells me this, “I am a rebel!”

Blah Blah, Happy, Random Thoughts, Ranting as usual!, They said what?

You know, one day I started watching The Matrix, the first one, and I couldn’t finish it. I was like this is crap! Too much acting and the story sucked. However, one gloomy afternoon, feeling blue and didn’t understand why I had a job and why I have money in the bank, I decided to purchase the Matrix! Yes, to solve your depression, buy something big and useful!

So my lovely peeps, check out my new ride! My Toyota Matrix!

I named her My Eight Pearl. Why? 1) I saved all this money to pay for this car in full for the past 8 years. 8 years!! 2) The colour of the car is Black Pearl. It’s black with a hint of shine that makes it look dark gray. It is gorgeous!!
