I can’t believe it folks, but seriously,

1. 30 years and still kicking old school style! (my birthday)

2. 5 years and blabbering online and liking it. (blog birthday)

What have I learned?

Well, a lot of people have asked me over the blogging years what I have gained from all this. Well, simple. I gained nothing but a headache. However, you all know me, I like the attention and the insults. It just shows how badly the internet is infested with morons who like to throw their crap around. They really leave a bad smell and make me appear like an angel with flaming wings! (hungry?)

Ok ok!! Enough of being oh so negative! Today rocks, and you all know it. My blog has survived many hurdles. A lot of people told me to just ignore it. I did not do that in the beginning life of my blog on Dec 23, 2005. It was just a normal blog, talking about normal things. However, as days passed, a lot more people around me started pissing me off. They hated what I wrote on here, and I saw the true side of some people. That’s fine, and my true side was never hidden. I just elaborated it more on this blog with Arabic eloquence and grace.

Finally, all I can really say after my messed up post thus far is the following:

I thank every single one of you for reading my blog and joining the conversation. Over the years I tried many methods or different ideas to add to this blog. However, what I found that straight up one to many conversations are a lot better. (computer talk here!)

Thank you all. The haters. The lovers. Old friends who may or may not read this blog anymore. All of you, thank you. It’s the least that I can say to everyone.

P.S. If I win the lottery on Friday, I am turning this blog to a happy zone; otherwise, you are stuck with little old blabbering me!

Blah Blah, Featured, Funny, Happy, Random Thoughts, Thank you

I have been pulling my self out of bed every day to go to work, and I work in the symbolic building of my city. You can see it from the airplane!! Well, you can see many buildings from the airplane, duh! Anyways, to get to my measly point, my building if pretty huge and has over 20+ levels. For my city that is a lot! So you can imagine how many companies are in that building and how many employees. Not a bad number eh?

So, as I dazzle around the building from time to time, and going up and down a lot, I noticed one small detail. I am good at observing things and the people around me, but one thing I noticed, ehm, there are no mohajabat (wear scarves) ladies at all. You know what else, I don’t think I even observed any Arabs or a distinct Arab. I would usually over hear someone with a very loud voice speaking on the phone in the mother tongue, but either they are hiding, or my building is missing people? Well, I have not seen anyone that has a unique cultural or religious attire or anything!

I ain’t white! Don’t get me wrong, nor do I have a symbol that distinguishing me from the rest of the building employees. I actually look like a programmer bum who does not belong there at all! So, ehm, what gives? I always thought it was weird, but I guess living in a multicultural society, seeing such a noticeable thing is quite unusual.

Maybe I need to work harder so I can move up in life and hire different people, and especially my home grown peeps.

Life kind of sucks when you notice these things in your society and daily routine.

I am permanently banning people. Some of you people are beyond rude and miserable little creatures. You take the time of day to come here to insult me and you do not even know me. Do I know you? Do you know me? No. So why do you even give a crap about what I write? How do you feel from the inside when you insult other people? Do you like it if someone did it to you? Or is this a one way streak and you are ice cold with no heart? It’s winter, I don’t blame you.

All I can say is, in order for you to continue with your miserable little lives, go to another blog. Or spend hours on YouTube. Or since you claim to be intelligent beings, go read a book.

If you comment on my blog without thinking, and then wonder why you cannot come here anymore, then know that I am awake and reading everything. I may not reply to everyone, but I read everything.

Go to sleep people or find a job or something productive to do with your lives.

P.S. I ban mostly Arabs from my blog because they think they can freely insult me since I am one of them. I wonder if they dare do it to anyone else! Maybe their mentality will change a little bit when they get burned with the same lighter.

Angry, Blah Blah, Random Thoughts, Ranting as usual!, Whatever!

Have you ever wondered if you are part of the blog circle or out of it? I do wonder sometimes. You see, if I was part of the Arab blog groups or anything like that then I would have a lot more people commenting on my blog just to get noticed. That’s why people join groups, to find each other and get noticed by their fellow peers. Believe me, it is nice to be recognized sometimes, and what is good about writing is that I am not being recognized for the way I look or act, but the written words on my site.

Fortunately, I got out of the whole group thing a long time ago. I do not participate in any. I don’t even advertise my blog anymore. I have not done so in years! I was in many Arab blog group sites in the past, and some contacted me later to join, but I just don’t want to deal with being part of any clan anymore. If I am part of one, I will get people saying, “You are only doing it to get people to come to your blog and your blog sucks!” If I don’t join, people will say, “Why are you not part of one, who do you think you are!”

Honestly, who cares about the above. Who needs groups to get noticed now a days.

Strangely enough, because I don’t advertise and I don’t go around marketing my self in any way or form, I get people saying that I write this way to just get more and more visitors. I ignite fires just to get noticed. So, explain this to me logically so I can make sense of it all, I do nothing at all but write in my private blog whatever the hell comes into my head, and I do not go around advertising just to get noticed, but my writing is the big NO NO!

Hmm. Yah, that makes sense. Hell, last time I checked this friggen site was a blog where I write run on sentences and have several syntax error. I do not use Microsoft Word to type my blog essays or an English editor to make sure everything is perfect before I click on that damn blue Publish button.

You know what I despise about certain people’s personality? I despise fake people. I despise people that are too anal about other people’s words and like to correct them to just prove how articulate they are. Finally, I despise people that think they can come here and freely insult me, and I know for a fact that they are scared shitless to do it to my face in real life.

I rather stay out of every circle, out of any association with certain people, and just be my SELF: a stubborn, egotistical, selfish blogger who only writes crap on her blog without thinking twice who reads it.

There, I got it out of my chest. I can sleep now.

Advertising, Advice, Blah Blah, Confused, Culture, Depressed, Random Thoughts, Ranting as usual!, Thank you, They said what?, Whatever!

I have nothing against Arabs. I am one.

I know how sad it is for Arab girls who are highly educated, hold post secondary or post graduate degrees and end up sitting at home taking care of the kids. I have nothing against them. I find it quite sad though that they wasted all those years to get a piece of paper to hang. Don’t they know how much money they spent and it should have been an investment to their futures?

You see, I am a horrible person right now and pretty much the don’t care type of person. Oh well, but I feel really sorry for those Arab girls who think or are forced into a life that is very one dimensional.

Honestly, some days I think to my self that I hate working, why should I work, blah blah and quit and just get married to any loser and live the rest of my life with no use of my degree or skills. Fortunately, that 5 minutes unlike me thoughts disappear so quickly that I thank God I am not like that.

I commemorate those ladies though that decide to have a family and still study and get a good education to better their position in life. It’s good to work and contribute to society in one form or another, but some will never experience that. Sucks to be them!
