This is my brain. It is filled with many tangled wires all over the place, has different colours, and no one can figure out the beginning from the end.

Does this look like your brain? Or just a bad server room and the guy in the picture is pretending to care about how to fix it?

No no, not a Visa to another country, but the blasphemous credit card! I am trying not to use my savings at all, and only use my credit card. OSAP is killing me, so I try to only use credit card for emergencies. It sucks not having an income and paying bills. I see my savings slowly decreasing and it is giving me a bad migraine. Thank God I am going to get a cheque from the government soon for the taxes they owe me. That’s like a month’s salary worth.

Anyways, if you see some weird posts advertising something, then yes, I am advertising something. Like duh! I have finally decided that it is about time to make money from writing reviews. It is a lot more profitable than selling ads on my site. Can you imagine that I get over 1200 unique visitors a day, and over 3000 page views, but I have been getting barely a dollar for it a day?

Ad network companies are going broke! I think advertisers are not paying them much of anything, and they end up paying publishers pennies a day. It is sad, but the horrible economy is effecting internet marketing. So, what can I do? I write!

Reviewing other websites is not so bad. Writing a 200 word post for some hefty change that can buy me some electronic device that I have been craving for lately, (yes, I am a nerd) is a lot easier and profitable. I don’t know how many of you have done it before, but I had to really think about it, because I didn’t want my site to be an advertising site. I worked too hard for it to gain an audience to turn it into such a thing. Therefore, I came up with a solution. I write reviews and relate them to myself. I think it makes a lot more sense than making some gibberish up. That’s my tip for the day, and I think it will help out a lot of bloggers out there. Especially the unemployed type ones like my self.

Lately, many people have been emailing me to tell me that they were searching for something totally irrelevant to my site, but ended up on my site because it was on the first page on Google, and they congratulated me for being on the top. When I read those emails, I rose up from my chair, did a funky Arabic belly dance, held my hands up high, and shouted, “Greatness! That’s what I want.” I guess when you are writing for over 3 years about anything and everything, then you slowly reach the top of things.

Therefore, you can easily pinpoint out the advertisement posts that I have written. Whispering: They are categorized as advertisement. Shssh.. Also, if anyone wants me to review their site, and give an honest well written opinion, then tell me. I don’t know if you want to be ripped apart, but any publicity is good publicity! I promise I won’t be evil or a horrible conceited arrogant person like some of you have voted the other day.

I just came back from a silly job interview. I was thinking the job was more of an advertising/technology based interview like it said in the job ad. Then I go over there, and there was a line up of people to be interviewed. The administrator was sitting there taking calls and making more interview appointments. She was telling people that the interviews are preliminary and are 10 – 15 minutes long. The company has expanded to London, and they want to hire for every kind of position.

Lights went up on top of my head when she said there was an assistant management job. This was better than the advertisement position I applied for. I thought ok, I will go through this.

This is how the interview went down.

He asked, “What do you do? What did you study?”

I paused a bit wondering what the hell? He didn’t read my resume? Then he asked me if I was still a student? Obviously, I laughed and I told him my skills and education. He was like great! As the conversation went deeper, I started describing my self as a leader who loves people. He was so impressed, and kept saying, “I have a list of resumes, and me and the bosses will go through them tonight and call you tonight or tomorrow.”

Obviously, I was a bit weary and wondered where this interview was going. I said, “what positions are you hiring for? Advertisement or management?” He said, “no no, everyone starts in sales and marketing and go from there. And the job is 40 – 50 hours a week.” I laughed inside my head. He kept asking me if I liked leadership and people. I said, “aha, and I like to problem solve and find solutions.”

He looked at me and said, “You did better, know how to talk, and so confident, unlike all the people I interviewed so far. Come for an all day interview tomorrow.” I was like, “ok . . . . . ” Then he said, “The interview is from 11am-8pm.” I had a shocked face, and I said, “11-8?” He said, “why are you shocked? It is to see on hand how the company works, blah blah.” I said, “fine.”

Came back home about 15 minutes ago, went to my Gmail lovely Inbox, and wrote a note back saying, “Sorry, I thought about it some more, and this is not what I expected or a career I want to pursue. Thank you!”

Bull crap. Man. I told my dad, “I rather sit at home then go for a job like that.” He said, “No one told you to find work. You can sit at home. Take a long vacation. Don’t worry!”

I wonder how much the lame ass salary they were gonna pay for 40 – 50 hours a week. I wasn’t even gonna ask. I am sure it was commission based only. Lame!

I want a computer JOB! I like technology, multimedia, programming, and people. Why is that so hard for idiot management to understand that? Or is it because I am GIRL that they don’t want to hire me, or want to pay me way less than guys with no benefits or anything. Why the hell do we hold University degrees for? To look at it! For display purposes to fill up the wall?

Angry angry angry!! I think this is a sign to quit looking for work and just make websites for fun. For mere enjoyment and to keep me busy and sane. I have so many domains that need a site up. Jeez. Working for people is not something I should be doing ever again.

Let’s be serious for a minute, because I am going to discuss a topic that has bedazzled me the past couple of days.

Have any of you felt depressed before? Have any of you felt a bit low and say things that usually you don’t say? Have any of you felt a bit distant and want to be left alone?

Is it me, or some of you have NO feelings?

Maybe some of you are born under a lucky star and never felt sad, angry, or depressed ever in your life. You are 24/7 happy and relaxed, and think everyone in the world is like you. Right?

I suggest some of you wake up and realize that the world is a lot different than the bubble you live in. No one is the same. Unfortunately, some of you think that religion is the only answer. Some of you think that life is great and I must in any way possible suck it up, and live it to the fullest no matter what the consequences are. Some of you think that because a person is depressed, that they are horrible people that lack morals and ethics.

I am sorry to burst that tiny bubble you live in, but is it me, or some of you are really closed minded to the world around you? You must have never met different people than your self in your entire life. You seriously lack social skills. I am surprised you read my site or bother to take interest in what I have to say. Why does it interest you? Are you just waiting for me to say something and forever hold it against me and think, “yep, there ya go. That’s Mona for ya! She is a horrible person who is anti-religious, rude, pathetic, no morals, lack ethics, and should be insulted daily!”

Don’t you have anything better to do with your life than go to a person’s site you don’t know, and make it your duty to insult them and give them horrible, pathetic, unwanted advice? You give advice to people you know and are comfortable giving advice to. You think twice before you write them crap and except them to take it seriously.

All I got to say is, some of you are really stupid. So stupid, that you make some world leaders appear smarter than you.

Hope this bit of advice helps you burst out of that tiny bubble you live in. It is starting to smell and needs some fresh air.

It didn’t take too long did it? I always plan things for twice the time that they should take. The end result is half the time. Anyways, I just had to do a bit of tweaking because I get bored easily, and I always like to change things. However, this time, not so drastic. It is just enough work to say I did something productive today.
