For my birthday last year, I decided that I was in dire need of a camera. I decided that I had enough of point and shoot cameras. I was grown up! It was my 28th birthday, and I had to find something that will piss off my brother. My brother is the photo freak of the family and he was furious that I got one before him!

So I decided to buy a digital SLR camera. I found the cheapest one that I can find. I told the guy that worked there, “I just need it for the web.” He said, “take this! It is 100 dollars cheaper and it is amazing!”

Since I got it, I have been totally acting like the dork I am, and just taking pictures of anything. I just love the zoom on it, and the way it fades the backgrounds. Oh, just the thought of it is making me … you know.

Anyways, so today, I finally decided to do some coding, some major customizations, and get a proper photo gallery where I can write a bunch of sarcastic comments, and people can joyfully comment. I will try my best to update it daily, so from now on, check it out!

Blah Blah, Whatever!

For the past 3 weeks, I have been semi-actively looking for someone to say, “Hey Mizz Thang, you want to work for us cuz you are wickedly talented?” However, no one in their right mind combines professional computer work with such urbanized lingo. Maybe only a crack addict my age would, but where are those goons?

Here I am again, the job hunt maniac Mona. I am doing it this time because I don’t need money, but I am bored to death and I want to talk and meet new people. I want to feel useful! Don’t you dare say that my site is an income, because it is not. It is pocket change that I can go around and say, “Hey jealous dumb ass! I am actually making money from writing nonsense. Do you?”

I had enough anal people that visit my humble site telling me to get a job and stop making money from ads. Yeah, you pea brained arrogant selfish bastards. IT IS SO EASY to find a job now a days with such a bad economy. Am I the only one that reads the news? Because companies are going broke and a LOT of people are getting laid off. Also, I make SO much money from this site, that I live on my own island out in the Pacific Ocean. I am not in London, Canada freezing my tan Arab ass off. No. It is a lie. Snow. What is snow? Is it that white cube stuff you put to make my sexy drink cool in the 40c degree weather?

Fortunately, I am not going insane yet. I am close to it though. Very close. One thing I learned while job hunting, to never ever send my resume ever again to a recruiter. They are money hungry people that know NOTHING of your talents. They ask you the most mundane stupid non-related questions, because they know nothing of what the job is really about. They memorize or read off a bunch of skills from a piece of paper, and they don’t know how to really analyze someone for that job. When I am with a recruiter, and they start asking me about my old work place, and I tell them how awesome it was, but we only know I am lying through my teeth, they are amazed by me. Then they ask, “oh.. do you know how to do this and that?” Then I realize at that second that they want to see if I am a match for some other position that I don’t even want, but want to see if they can throw me in another pool for later use.

I have gone to far too many recruiters the past few months. However, 3 weeks ago was the last time I will do it. The recruiter was such an arrogant ass, and he kept boasting about how much money recruiters make off big companies, and that’s why some positions don’t pay well. When I heard that, all I wanted to do was get up and leave, and then say, “screw you and this cheap ass unfairly paid job!” Not only that, the night before, the job was posted at the company’s website. No recruiter needed. I was like huh? And I told the recruiter that. I asked, “well, last night, a similar job was posted on the company’s site. It’s the same right? Are they doing their own hiring?”

Obviously, the recruiter started bullshitting on how many resumes a company gets and they don’t go through all of them. After that, I couldn’t wait till the pointless interview was over. The recruiter obviously did not call, typical, and I just ignored the whole thing. However, last night, I was going through the stupendous job board of this amazing city that God put me in, and the job was still there. In reality, it was exactly the type of job that I wanted. I really want it! I don’t care how much it pays. The experience enough is a big pay off! It was the second step that I should be taking in my career. So I applied directly through the company. However, I know my luck. Meh. I am just one in a 1000!

Finding the right job is not easy. Some people are lucky, and some people, well, are like me! I am giving London a chance for another month. After that, I am going to be searching anywhere in Canada. The reason I am waiting another month because of the snow and mobility.

I hope one day I will get a job where people treat me fairly. I want a full time job, where someone actually pays for my benefits, pension, and insurance. To actually get paid what I am supposed to get paid, and stop being compared to others and get paid the same as them, or even less, so everyone is close to the same level. Why would I get paid the same as someone who is less educated and has less work experience? I think that’s the reason I am so picky with work, and want to make the best choice. However, recruiters, never again!

I guess what now that don’t kill me, can only make me stronger!

I honestly think that some people are full of shit and have no idea what they are getting them selves into. They are just dumb and live in la la land. They are living a lie and think nothing will come back and bite them in the ass. Those people, I feel sorry for. I really do. I suggest no one asks me what I am talking about, because I honestly gave up and don’t care anymore about anyone or anything. Also, I am sick of people’s comments thinking they have the answers to solving my problems.

I suggest you people stop analyzing my personality and what’s wrong with me. Nothing is wrong with me! Stop bugging me. You can’t analyze me from just reading this stupid blog. So stop it! I just write because I can. I have the freedom to write whatever I want. Is that a crime? Or is it too much to bare? You can’t stand that Mona is writing! She is saying something that you can’t?

Jeez. I get people talking about me politically on other blogs. I got people analyzing my site and my personality on other stupid blogs. What you trying to do? Earn traffic to your site?

My God! I have never been angry ever! Also, that goes for everyone that knows me in real life or through the internet world. Stop it. I had enough. Some of you don’t want to talk to me in real life, then that’s your frigge’n problem, not mine. I only care about one person and that’s me! Not you or anyone! If you think my blog has the answers to who I really am, then I suggest you go read a book!

Angry, Blah Blah, Idiots, They said what?, Whatever!

I believe that no matter what happens in life, who we rely on, and who we try to discuss our problems with, parents will always give us the best life answers. The words that come out of their mouth are supposed to be gold!

However, my parents are an exception. Their words are, well, just hilariously funny and quiet controversial. It actually makes me think twice and ask them, “what the heck did you just say?”

Father

My mom makes a lot of spinach sometimes, and it usually ends up being a lunch and dinner meal.

Dad was about to heat up the spinach dish in the microwave, and then said to me, “We are like cows. Eating green food.”

I said, “Mom put meat in it, like always.”

He said, “Doesn’t matter. It’s mostly green, and we crap it green! Just like you non-meat eater!”

My eyes were … and I said, “great dad! Great!”

Mother

We have two satellite dishes in our house, and I use numbers for one to fix it and get more channels.

The channels are not always there all the time, and I have to wait a few hours till someone posts the numbers again online. So, when that happens, my mom just sits there with a grouchy face, because she is not able to watch her show.

I said, “Mom, why you angry?”

She said, “Did you get the numbers yet? Aren’t you going to fix the satellite? It’s been 2 hours!”

I said, “Hmm, no. I am looking online, and nothing yet. Why are you so angry? Because of a stupid satellite? It’s not that what we are doing is legal anyways.”

She got mad and said, “Legal? We are Palestinians. They stole our lands and made each family live apart in this world. They owe us, the entire world OWES US!”

My eyes were and I said, “Ok mom. Whatever you say. The entire world owes us everything. Even satellite.”

Now you know what kind of family I have. The sarcastic-abnormal-meat-eater family. However, I gotta love them! Amen for their craziness! :up:
