I was told by someone that I should not mention, but I am anyways, to make a poll that addresses the issue of why you are here. So, because I never listened to him while working for him and he knows I never will, if he reads this he will so chuckle and say, “hehehehe, I will never hire her again!”, so I refrained from making a poll. For the past week, people have been lecturing me about my new eating habits. My non carnivorous ways are blasphemous! Why does it matter to you what I eat LISA! AND OTHERS! I don’t care about nutritional facts LISA! AND OTHERS! I am content with my eating habits. I do not want to eat bloody meat again! I eat shrimp though, but it is a crustacean and it has no blood, and it tastes AWESOME!

Down with meat! Down with meat! Save the trees, oops, I meant animals. lol Jeez, wrong campaign there. I make my self laugh sometimes. Har har har! :pirate:

Blah Blah, Recipes/Food, They said what?, Whatever!

Every day, my mom would have this utter fear from a Jordanian lady that keeps coming to our house uninvited. This lady seriously has issues. She is divorced, but trying to suck up her husband’s money (he is a millionaire), and has horribly raised kids. They don’t even go to school and always out in another city with friends. They are still in high school. And yet, this lady keeps coming over whenever she feels like for 3 or 4 hours complaining about her life. How does my mom feel? Annoyed! :vangry:

My mom is about 18 or 19 years older than her. I don’t understand why my mom talks to this woman anyways. This woman has serious problems, and now she is going around telling people she is chatting with this guy from Egypt and wants to bring him to Canada. Ok? My mom doesn’t understand why someone would not bother with the kids, raise them wrong, and look for another husband.

So, every time the phone rings, or door rings, my mom tells me, “if it is her, tell her I am not here.” My dad refuses obviously because it is lying. However, in my case, well, I don’t bother answering the door or phone. It’s not my problem. Every time my mom complains, I tell her, “why don’t you just tell her to stop coming, or not to come uninvited.” My mom says, “no way I am saying that. That is wrong.” I tell her, “isn’t it wrong to complain about people and not want to see them and lie to them?” She said, “yes, but what am I to do? Why do I have to sit for 3 or 4 hours and listen to her? Half the things she says are not true and everyone knows that.” I just keep telling my mom, “be straightforward. Tell her to stop coming uninvited!”

I am totally different than my mom when it comes to people. I have no patience, and I am too straightforward. If I don’t like someone or someone’s actions, then I tell them. I don’t care. I rather satisfy my self than them. It’s my life, not theirs that I have to carry on my shoulders and sit through for hours non end.

I feel that some people have this annoying trait to them that they can’t help, or they don’t notice or think is wrong. It is a habit to them, but there are people like me that will get annoyed and tell people off. I don’t care if I burn bridges or loose friends. I don’t want to spend my hours listening to nonsense and accepting certain behaviours I don’t like. Don’t get me wrong, I am accepting of people and who they are in general. Everyone is unique, but some behaviours I cannot tolerate because it disturbs me. I don’t like to get disturbed. It pisses me off and I don’t want anymore grey hair. I have enough.

Today, Twitter decided to cut off SMS delivery service to us Canadians. Guess who got pissed off first? ME! So I am boycotting this regime, and telling TWITTER OWNERS to start infesting their site with advertisements. They will make thousands off of us. I don’t care. Everyone makes money off everyone else. Nothing is free or given free to people without a price anymore. Spare us the drama that you wrote on your blog today, and just put stupid advertisements! Make money and stop making this awesome service limited or not 100% functional for everyone!

Canadian SMS service

Unexpected changes in our billing have forced us into a difficult situation with our Canadian SMS service. We can’t afford to support this service given our current arrangement with our providers (where costs have been doubling for the past several months.) As a result, effective today we are no longer delivering outbound SMS over our Canadian shortcode (21212).

The ability to update Twitter over SMS will still be supported over 21212. But we know that this is only part of the experience and we want to make Twitter work in the way folks want … regardless of where they live.

There is a realistic, scalable SMS solution for Canada (and the rest of the world.) We’re working on that and will post more details on the Twitter blog as we make progress.

Angry, They said what?, Tweets, Whatever!

And I would rather sleep.

Oh my dear mother… Honestly, I wish my mother would read this, but because I tell her 90% of what I say on my site anyways, this post won’t be any different. Yes, I do tell my mom almost all the crap I write, but I use less profane words, but same angry tone.

I think my mom is at the edge of denial about my age. Since my 28th birthday is in 31 days, she has been on a constant comparison streak to other people. It is getting to the point that it is too obvious! My mom thinks that she can hint the fact she wants me to get married by comparing other looser Arab families and their stupid daughters to me. I don’t care honestly. I don’t care if a girl who is 7, 8, 10, 11 years younger than me is getting married. I don’t care. Why should I care?

I won’t deny it, I used to care. I used to get jealous of other girls getting married, but we all did it when we were naive 20 or 21 year olds. We just didn’t know better.

Now, as I am approaching the end of my 20′s, I probably learned more about life and what to avoid. Let me be honest with you, I do not like many Arab guys, because finding one that is honest and actually knows what it means to obey God is very rare. Honestly, I know some white Canadian guys who are more religious than 5 so-called Muslim Arab guys put together. They never even been to a club before. Since I cannot marry a non-Arab and a non-Muslim, let us ALL forget that I said that.

Anyways, I just think Arab guys live a double life and I cannot tell which is the real person. Also, girls are like that too. I do not like living a double life. I do not have a problem with who I am, my actions and what I portray as an individual. Why should I care what others think? I think I learned about 3 years ago when I made this site, that caring about what Arabs think all the time is the biggest cause of aneurysms. I do not feel like getting an aneurysm or any form of -syms to be honest. Not at my age. I am still young and can’t call my self 30 something yet.

So what exactly does my mom want from me? It’s not like guys comes to my door waiting for me. I do not understand how she excepts me to get married like the rest of the Arabs who follow the “traditions.” I do not like my mom’s friends. She only makes friends with people who have younger kids. She also makes friends with people who only have girls. She is the one with the problem, not me. I just do not know anyone. I do not really get out of the house much. I do not chat with Arab guys on dating sites or whatever, because I tried it and lots of creeps on there. I just don’t think I am meant to get married. Why should I? I do not even believe in love that much anymore. It’s all superficial anyways. I am so bitter aren’t I?

I like being free. I like writing on this blog and complaining. I like sitting in my pj’s all day vegging out and watching movies. I like going to the mall for 30 minutes and walk aimlessly and come back. I do not want someone controlling what I say, what I do, or what I want to do in my life (which I have not figured that out yet.) I do not like someone comparing me to their sisters, or brother’s wife, or distant foreign 4th cousin, and saying why I do not act like them; like an Arab lady. You know what I say to that shit? FUCK OFF!

Tell me this, at my age; after all the shit I have been through in my life; from all the crap that I have seen from other people in this life; why should I want to get married for the sake of getting married because of my age? That’s weakness. That’s the ultimate form of weakness. Getting married for the sake of getting married because Arabs talk is such a lame unhappy life.

Honestly, if I can find a nice honest Arab guy who is open minded, thinks life is a fun journey that we must enjoy, believes in God and religion, then I am all for it. Till that day, I am going to keep smiling and pissing off my mother. She is one of the reasons anyways why I am not married. She should just suck it up and accept it. Maybe she should stop talking to other stupid Arabs. I know every mother wants their daughters to get married, but my mother is not normal, because I am her offspring, I know how she is! Not only that, my dad wants me to get married too and I laugh more when he says it, because he knows no one. I mean it. He knows no one! So really… really.. it is not my fault. I am just their offspring, and I act exactly like them.

How people get married now a days? I have no clue. Maybe I should do some research to figure that out, because it is such a mind boggling thought.

Till then, I can have my fun, enjoy looking at gorgeous guys sneakily on Facebook that I know in person who have their profiles open to the world, and wish to God that they were older than me. Fuck, why are the good looking guys always younger than me? Why is my generation ugly? lol Joking! I am such a dork sometimes. Ehh.. done complaining. You can either comment or just go to sleep. I would go to sleep, but I bought a new book that I want to read. I will try to read it this week, or at least by next week and tell you guys all about it.
