I have been getting strange emails lately, especially in the past 24 hours. I get it a lot from Arabs and even non-Arabs. I don’t understand how in the world they judge a person they don’t know and make strange assumptions without a valid reason.

First strange ASS-Umption: I gained weight from sitting at home and not having a job. Who said that I sit at home all day? How can someone make that assumption without seeing me face to face? I think people are fooled by the new picture I have on the top right side. It’s not new by the way. It’s a 3 year old picture and I have had a round full face since the day God put me on this earth. I actually lost weight being sick last month, and I have been walking around a lot and NOT sitting on the computer. I never felt better.

Second strange ASS-Umption: That being a Rebellious Arab means that I think independently. ? ? ? :vangry: Don’t get me started on that stupid thought.

Third strange ASS-Umption: Since all Arabs are terrorists then I am one of them. Great! So my fellow Arabs, who should I curse to hell first? I am sorry, but that is all the power I got to place fear into you!

You know, some people may think having a blog is stupid and waste of time, but I think it is the best weapon for people to get their voices heard no matter where they are in the world. Also, it is a great tool to discover how STUPID people out there are. WAY stupid!

Idiots, They said what?, Whatever!

I am on a long-term vacation from work right now. I do not have a problem announcing it, and I made that choice for my self because I worked non-stop for over 6 years. No vacations what so ever! I do not want a steady job right now and I am not looking for one. I do not need the money. I have enough money to put a down payment on a house. That’s more than what I have to say to some of you out there who waste their money left and right over nonsense and do not know how to save. However, in the culture that I was inevitably born in, that is not the case. In my culture, a girl is either married, has a job, or both. Well, I do not fit that group eh? So, what the fuck am I?

Arab women have a serious problem with wanting to “know.” Why do old women care to know? No clue. Maybe to feed their curiosity and have something to talk about with other women. That is why I do not like working with Arabs, or associating my self with Arabs in my city at all, and I do not like people talking about me or wondering what am I doing. When a women at a funeral asks my mother, “Is Mona still working?” makes me wonder what the hell is going on in their heads. My mother was baffled by the question at a funeral. Usually people are sad and their minds are somewhere else, but not some Arab women. Oh no. It’s a great place to be gathered and ask questions instead.

Obviously, some people by now know that I quit work, and I am floating around daily doing nothing or something. My blog is the evidence and there are some Arab floaters that read it. I am not going to hide and make another blog with another identity because of them. They can kiss my ass and I know they are pure jealous of my ability to make such choices. Some of those people seriously have a problem with keeping their mouth shut, and think “OH MY GOD! MONA QUIT WORK AND DOING NOTHING!” So? Tell me SO! SO WHAT!

I despise Arabs in my city. I really do, and I try my best to avoid them because they are the cause of my discontent with the culture. I do not understand this need to wanting to know, gossip, and spread useless crap that does not affect them. It’s like an acquired horrible habit that Arabs have. I can’t stand it!

You Arabs! LEAVE ME ALONE! I do not give a shit about you or anyone. The reason you talk about me because you will NEVER reach my level of self confidence, defying the norm, and being an individual!

Foolish, air-headed, meaningless, shallow, or whatever you want to call them, are the type of women that make me wonder what the hell is wrong with our society. Didn’t we conquer the gender bias? Didn’t we stand up for equality years ago? How can we keep this equality if we stoop down so low and say stupid things on purpose to be noticed?

Last night, my best friend Lisa brought up a certain issue regarding some Facebook comments by certain people. When a girl comments on a guy’s photo and she is “just a friend,” and says such nonsense as, “oh you are so cute.. you are so gorgeous, we want to see more pics of that handsome face, etc,” then how do you think the rest of us civilized women that actually know the meaning of self-respect feel? Can we even trust such guys who accept such shallow comments?

Such shallow women I do not have on Facebook. Actually, I don’t have many people on Facebook because I find it the most exposed social network ever. I don’t find it secure what so ever nor private. They are all options you enable, but how many people who use Facebook really know how to use a computer or care to look around and enable such settings?

Don’t get me wrong, I am NOT a feminist. I only label my self as being The Queen of Sarcasm. I just feel that there are some people out there that seriously need a slap in the face. I am volunteering my services as a slapper. Just tell me who, where, when and I am there!

There are some people out there that are at the edge of making me vomit. I do not know why in the world people think that their silliness is funny or amusing because it is not. Believe me, if you think that being silly is amusing and gets people’s attention to notice you and stay “friends” with you, then you are wrong. It is pure annoying and people are just smiling or laughing at you and not with you. Silliness is the one human characteristic that I cannot stand and I find it horrible. I find that people who hide their true feelings are the ones with an excessive level of silliness. I am not saying you cannot be silly from time to time; we are all silly at times, but NOT all the time. Really, it is not a very appealing characteristic to have, especially if you plan to have or keep your job.

Joking around is also a part of silliness. I find joking around is fun sometimes, but you have to be careful who are you joking around with. Do you know them well enough? Are they your friends? Do you know if they will accept your ludicrous jokes? Do not get me wrong, I am not really a serious person and I like to have fun and joke around. However, I think that some people who are on my life’s block list should seriously change their ways. People do NOT think you are funny, and they do NOT always think you are joking.

This silly person I am talking about, and I shouldn’t be because people who gossip go to hell (who said I was perfect anyways?), has reminded me of something I did a while back. I was 18 or 19 I think, and I knew one Jordanian/Palestinian guy who was incredibly annoying. He thrived on silliness and it was his only means of survival. People laughed at him and his constant jokes and he wasn’t young either, but a mature student. Surprisingly, he thought he was beyond funny and people loved him. Unfortunately, there was this one person who told him off and slapped him. Guess who it was? Yah me… Duh! Who else has a bad temper and thinks silly people are pure ridiculous? Me! I couldn’t stand him. You could not talk to this guy at all. Every sentence he had to say something that he thought was funny, but it actually made fun of someone or something. I could not stand it, and his jokes were getting to the point of being offensive that I could not help but get angry. He thought since I was an Arab like him that it was “ok”. Ahh, no! Does it look like I am the type of person who prefers certain people and should be nice to them because they are “ahl balady?” (People from my country?) I think we all know that I do not care about Arabs or non Arabs. Everyone is the same to me and I have no preference when it comes to human characteristics.

After ranting for the past three paragraphs, we can all conclude that I do not like silly people. They should be slapped and told to shut the hell up. In Arabic we call these people: “sakhefeen.” Those are the type of people I repel from and I wish someone else has the guts to tell them off, because I am tired of doing that my self. However, thinking about it now, I am unemployed, and I have no reason to keep my positive reputation as a good person who semi-manages her anger. Well, I guess I got some telling off to do soon!

Angry, Blah Blah, Ranting as usual!, Whatever!

I LOVE snow! However, I don’t like walking in it, or driving in it. We had a mini snow storm this morning, and the snow was really heavy. It is the type of snow that makes the trees weep, and its trunks fall off. Yes, many trees died this morning and it was not due to human negligence. I think I will over use paper now and write an offsite diary since trees suddenly became available in high quantities. Or better yet, how about if I print every post in my blog and keep it as hard evidence of my disturbing thoughts if the internet ever died out? Hmm. I think some environmental advocate would be very angry with me right now and about to give me a very long boring lecture on saving the planet. You want to know how to save the planet? Get rid of humans!

Anyways, I take many pics, and I never share them with the world. Why? No clue. Maybe I am just pure selfish and imagery is not as vivid as writing about it. However, today is your lucky day and I am going to share some pictures.

This picture was taken of my backyard two weeks ago. The leaves are barely turning yellow at that point, but you can feel the coldness is about to come and bite you in the ass sooner or later.

I threw this picture for a flavour since I don’t talk or take pictures of Squibby that much anymore. Since my house is cold, and I mean cold because “the authority” is like the city who think it is too early to care about the presence of snow and coldness, and believe it is just temporary. So I leave the lamp on 24/7 for Squibby to stay warm. He enjoys it a lot. I wonder where I can get a lamp big enough for me to stay warm? I demand it is at least 40 watts!
